Cats and Taylor Swift

It's happened again... I had great expectations for my afternoon, lots of plans and things to get done but then I decided to have a quick look on buzzfeed which of course impossible and now three hourse later I find myself still scrolling down lists of animals... mainly cats and doing quizes to tell me which Taylor Swift song I am. I'm 'Style'. I mean, it's not an unproductive afternoon really, it's been great:

HAVE A LISTEN TO THIS. Great music from Desert Sound Colony, created by a lad who had his first sleepover at my house. Obviouly I mean the old-fashioned sleepover featuring a non-scary Disney movie (actually I think we were Land Before Time fans) and a midnight snack at about 8... we were 5 years old. I know, I know

I know. I need to get my act together and sort out this mahoossive backlog of dances. Its just that I am out all day and when I get home form work I am too tired to do anything except watch tv and eat food. I miss not working and being free to dance all day!! On the plus side I know now more about English grammar than I ever thought I would. Who knew there where so many uses of the '-ing'! I bloody hate it. But I also like it.

Attention

So it seems that some people, very lovely people, have seen some of the dances on YouTube. Its nice that they have seen them and that they say nice things but I am a little suprised at how I feel about it... I know I decided to put them online and I did so to keep me motivated - if people saw them I really couldnt give up - but it turns out having the attention of a few people makes me want to stop... not sure why exactly... But I wont stop becuase that would go against my original ideas and thoughts... Its strange that I'm not scared to dance in the street in front of passersby but strangers seeing my dancing on the otherside of the world scares me....

This was the day I packed up my room to move house, it's a goodbye dance.

Nothing like taking a break from the tedium of packing to have a wee boogie and who better to boogie to than Mr Steler.

I have accidentally been using my headphones as a barrier and protector, it makes me braver but is cutting me off from people, I need to work on this, I need to take down the wall that protects me.

Can I still call this a dance a day now I have missed a day?

I hope so! I have been asked a few times why I dont get speakers so passers-by can hear what I am dancing too but my response to that is, im not doing a show so people dont need to hear my music and also I dont want to disrupt or get in the way of anyone which I guess includes me. I dont want to get in the way of myself and life which is why I decided to not damce yesterday because I just couldnt face it. Dancing makes me happy and if I had danced yesterday I probably woudlnt have felt stressed but the act of leaving my house again... I just couldn't face. I'm not trying to get in your way and I am not trying to get in my way. Everyone is HAPPY, now everybody DANCE!
