Stupid questions about SNK's titan shifters that just occurred to me and probably don't make sense.
Can they have a tattoo?
Are congenital disorders healed when they get their titan?
Are hereditary diseases healed?
If someone has idk asthma (I'm looking at you Armin) do they keep having asthma? The same question goes to eye conditions (I'm referring mainly to refractive errors)
And if they have an allergy? Do they simply not have it anymore or do they just not have a big reaction?
Hey everyone!! I just posted Chapter 17 of Foreign. I hope you all enjoy 💙
Read here.
Here's a snippet:
“Hey,” she said.
“Hey,” he said. “Sorry. I was just reading through something. I won’t be long.”
“That’s fine,” she said. Then, after a moment, she asked, “Would you like some company?”
His eyebrows rose, but it was only for a moment. Then, he nodded and gestured to the chair right beside him.
“Sure,” he said.
A bit early, it's not June 2nd yet - but happy 3rd birthday to VBEOW! Can't believe it's been three whole-ass years. I honestly haven't been able to write as much as I'd hoped this past year, but the story means just as much to me as when it was conceived, if not more! Up until now, the fic has also received much love and I'm honestly so happy and grateful for it T_T thank you all so much.
Thank you Anna, @annawayne , for once again creating something so breathtakingly gorgeous to mark the occasion T/////T The art is just so beautiful I want to make a wall to wall tapestry and stare at it until my eyes bleed akdjjwbdkwjshjw T////T look at aruani enjoying Kald!!! Ughhehdhkwmdiwkdnsks
To many more such birthdays to VBEOW!
(yes yes I'm writing as I post this, don't worry xD We're at a 5k word count!)

one thing that i love about annie is that she allows herself to cry.
growing up with a father like hers and then training in the warriors unit was a very harsh experience. annie is seen as an emotionless woman and yet she is the warrior that cries the most out of everyone.
she cried when they took eren from her, realising that she killed a big amount of people for nothing and that she couldn’t go back to her father because the mission wasn’t done yet.
annie is a very strong and independent woman and crying isn’t seen as a weakness in her eyes. annie cries, annie gets frustrated, annie gets mad.
also in this scene she feels SO upset that not only she is crying, but the titan itself. i think it reflects well enough how deep her pain is.
she cries when she gets defeated and realises that she needs to crystallise herself to survive: she doesn’t know if her comrades will save her or when she’ll have the occasion to get out safely. she thought she could finally go home and see her father, but her only wish (and reason to keep living) now looks so far.
as i said before, annie is seen as an emotionless and cold character. yes, reiner, berthold and other characters also cry, but the fact that SHE also does it is the demonstration of how deeply she actually feels things and how her nonchalant behaviour is just a way of trying to protect herself from her own actions.
My 136 prediction lol
pisses me off when people are like "Annie was really doing all that just to get back to her abusive dad" yeah she was! do you know why. because she was a teenager who had been abused and indoctrinated and trained as a child soldier for her whole life, and the only thing that kept her going was knowing that somewhere, someone wanted her. even if he was a shit dad for 99% of her life, the last thing she remembered of him was him apologising and asking her to return to him.
yeah she selfishly killed a bunch of people, but in this fandom that's somehow only a bad thing when a teenage girl does it. riddle me that
if there’s something i wish we had more screen time about is the relationship between annie and pieck.
imagine being a girl in the army and there’s only one other girl with you. even if annie was pretty avoidant with everyone i feel like with pieck it was a little different.
if you look at this panel pieck has her hand on annie’s shoulder. we never see annie having much physical touch with the others, yet it seems like pieck is allowed to. everyone is behind her and they’re not trying to follow but her friend is right with her.
also none of them had female parental figures while growing up. experiencing girlhood alone must have been difficult, but with each other it was probably a little better. i imagine them discovering new hairstyles together and trying to make them army-approved.
they both fought for the same reason: their father. this somehow probably brought them closer.
in general i wish we had more time dedicated to the warriors’ dynamics and past :(
I like to think about Annie and Mikasa being at least a little older than Armin and Eren because I like to think about those two blasting Mayor Que Yo in the car
so pouty and angy 😾
Aruhmin
I am in desperate need to see them interact with eachother more ngl. I think the Warriors are so interesting.
Armin would have horrible neck posture because he's always hunching over his desk doing paperwork or reading or writing up notes. 10/10 impression of a crab, his neck is always killing him, never remembers to sit straight or stretch, extremely horrible memory for any kind of practice or habit meant to actually do good or protect him. Annie's always dragging him to bed and giving him a neck massage which she (unfortunately) has to put too much strength into, not because she likes to hurt him, but because his neck muscles are just. That. Bad 🥲 but it's okay, they spend the time playing word puzzles when she's straddling his back and kneading his neck and shoulders to oblivion. In the end sometimes she also falls asleep like that, facedown on his back, and you know, it's just an Aruani sandwich. Bed, Armin, Annie.
It's so hard to think about cadet aruani without it being a secret relationship. I just know Annie would have my boy more hidden than a stolen horse.
Annie sees herself as heartless but ISN'T and never was.
Annie is genuinely so interesting. She came to recognize moral right and wrong, and absolutely admires "good people" (which doesn't exist anyway), but sees herself as irredeemably evil, and accepts that she is that way, up till a point. And it saddens her but she sees the world as a fatalistic binary of "good" people and "Bad" people. Meanwhile, we have Connie and Eren (and many others on every side), who have the same mindset as her: "it's ok to kill those we don't care about to help ones who do". She sees that it's evil, but doesn't do anything about it. Not because she's heartless, nor bc she wants to stay how she is, but bc she sees herself as incapable. This is part of why I love AA. They together realize this mindset is flawed. It's important not as a ship but as a symbolic, thematic element.
Shipwar this and that how about asking the least helpful group of people ever instead
Not even a joke
