At this moment, the last thing Gigi wanted was anyone’s pity. Right now she didn’t have the time. All she wanted was to be able to get off work so that she could finally go and see her brother, knowing that he of all people would be able to calm her down. “No, I’m fine. Thank you. “Did something happen?” asked Nat, her eyes meeting where Gigi’s were focused, but not understanding what exactly what was going on, but she was worried for the well-being of the other girl, who seemed much more shaken up than she had the other day, telling Nat something was up.

“Nothing really. Besides I’m pretty sure I can’t talk about it anyway,” Gigi said with a shrug, not wanting to worry the other girl. After all, it’s not like anyone really knew if anything actually happened yet anyway, or at least that’s what Gigi kept telling herself.

“I just can’t believe I nearly sat in it,” Gigi said rubbing her arms as she thought about the night before. Through it all, the only thing that Gigi couldn’t help but think about was that there was at least one person out there who was seriously hurt, or worse, and alone. “I’ll be fine. There’s really not much to do but let it all process.”

Gigi watched the scene in front of her, not wanting an actual confrontation to happen she put her hand on the woman’s shoulder. “Babe, he’s not worth it.” she said leaning into her.
