Alleviate Me
Alleviate Me: my character will take care of yours
A sneeze, louder than any other sneeze Bailey had ever heard caused her to jump in her seat and alerted her of someone else's presence. Bailey looked over her shoulder to see Avery but she didn't look like herself. Her nose was red, her hair had been sloppily tied up on the top of her head and she was huddled into layers of jumpers. She looked like she was about to ask something when she sneezed again, excusing herself to blow her nose.
"You look like death, are you okay Avery?" Bailey automatically lifted her hand to Avery's forehead and felt her temperature. She felt warm but it was nothing too worrying but she was definitely sick. "No and I can't find Ash or Jenny and I don't want to go to the hospital ward by myself. I hate it up there." Bailey half expected Avery to stamp her foot but she knew too well how much it sucked to be sick. She had spoken to Ash earlier and he had some grand plan to annoy Nick so she knew he wouldn't be around.
"Do you want me to go with you? I don't mind." she asked, trying to sound supportive. Avery agreed and they walked slowly to see Professor Parker, only stopping so Avery could blow her nose a few more times. Luckily for them, the line wasn't long and Avery had soon been administered with a potion to clear up her cold. Professor Parker tried insisting that they stay and wait for it to pass but Avery refused.
"I'll look after her, Professor. I promise." Bailey said, quickly pushing Avery behind her and walking out of the hospital ward. "Thank you, Bailey. I might go out. Lewis said there was going to be a big snow ball fight today!" Avery said once they were away from prying professors. "Oh no you don't! I promised to look after you and I'm going to. Come on, let's go to the kitchens and I'll make you some chicken soup."
