unfortunately, for as much as I’ve tried to come back to this blog and get it back up and running by clearing a few drafts and watching the movie again, my muse for Quasi is completely gone, and I don’t believe I’ll be returning to this blog. It will now be archived, and you can feel free to unfollow.  During my time on Quasi, we’ve reached over 900 followers, the most I’ve had on any muse. That’s amazing! I’m really happy that he got so much love while he was here. I really do wish I could bring him back, but my attentions are elsewhere for now. I can’t thank you guys enough for the wonderful experience you’ve given me here. <3 hopefully we’ll see each other again on my other muses! OUT OF BELL TOWER. hey everyone! Quasi-mun here emerging from the depths of nowhere to give you guys an update on what’s been going on && why this blog has not kicked off yet.  As most of you following me on my other accounts may know, it’s been a busy couple of weeks, what with summer festivities coming in and a delightful ear infection suddenly tossed my way. I’ve also been mostly on txrero && crxgacht for the time being, trying to get those two blogs full stable && at a good place; though getting them out there is taking a long while. My muse for them has been pretty high nevertheless. As for Quasimodo, I truly feel as if the potential to RP as him is there, but I believe he is shying away from me because of my 30 drafts. I might be keeping a few of these, but in all honesty, I truly believe I need a fresh start with this. Clean slates usually reset my muse in a way, && I truly believe this will help me bring Quasi back. I’m really hoping you guys can understand! I don’t like dropping threads, but neither do I like letting muses collect dust, especially one so special to me as Quasimodo. Once I can pull him out from wherever he’s hiding, we can definitely start up something new! I just don’t want this to be a stressful environment for me.

OUT OF BELL TOWER. yeah, socializing seriously just...no. it’s not my cup of tea. it’s so exhausting. I wish I had friends who understood this is a condition && not something I can actually control?

We’ve done something incredible.

After the announcement that The Hunchback of Notre Dame was not going to be transferring to Broadway, the fans were both outraged and heartbroken. Once again, Disney had given the Hunchback fanbase the cold shoulder. 

However, we were not going to go down without a fight-we were going to let Disney know exactly how we felt. We rallied together, signed petitions, sent them letters, and expressed our admiration for Hunchback and its stage productions. Admittedly, I didn’t think anything would come from our efforts–it was just a way to show Disney that the fanbase was alive and well…that we cared and that there was indeed a market for the story that has gotten largely ignored by the company over the years. Still…hopefully, someone would listen.

Thankfully, somebody did listen. Our reward? A cast album! This is absolutely huge. No, it is not the full-fledged Broadway production that many of us were pining for, but it is definitely the next best thing, and it is wonderful. It’s wonderful that we were listened to for what seems to be the very first time. 

Now, I won’t pretend that fan protests are the only reason the album is getting made–I’m sure both Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz had a great deal to do with it. However, I’m confident that the relentless feedback they were getting is a large reason why this is happening at all. Let’s hope this paves the way for further projects involving Hunchback…here’s to a bright future to Disney’s most brilliant and underrated gem.

Congratulations, everyone. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. I hope you’ll join me in buying the cast album the second it goes on sale! :’)
