The People's Park Tavern have made their IPA their Brew Of The Week. "A blend of American hops, perfect for a cold day," they reckon. If it makes you this happy pulling the pints, imagine how you feel drinking them.

One of the PPT's most popular ales recently has been Hop Cords, brewed using hops grown locally in Hackney. It's modelled here by manager Emma, who personally tests every pint for quality.

Possibly the best roast I've had in London at @FourThievesPub. Definitely the best gravy! Love what they've done with the place.

Roberto Cavalli's controversial A/W season proved surprisingly easy to wear. Actually, this Four Thieves performer Katrina with her stage partner.

We're not saying the Dissenting Academy are fans of Kraken Rum but they've built an actual shrine. It's suitably black to match the drink.

Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube crew were in the PPT filming yesterday. We had to make sure the staff all had proper nutritious lunches. We didn't want telling off.

Nic loves dry hopping so much it takes two of our bar strongest barmen hanging onto his legs (out of shot) to stop him climbing into the tanks for a lap of honour. Having tasted this IPA - it's beautiful pine-y - we can kinda understand.

Bloody hell, it's like awards season round here today. Now The Aeronaut has won Time Out's Best Pub award for Acton. If this carries on we'll have a Lifetime Achievement Oscar by the end of the day.
