what's the difference between badly drawn blogs and daily blogs (i saw 2 differents posts for each), bc i made a daily blog but it's badly drawn so i'm a lil confused (giorno-a-day ; mod iriz)
The short answer is:
There isn’t one! They’re all part of the same community.
The long answer is:
It just depends on what you like calling yourself.
Both kinds are just different names for “ask [character]” blogs
Calling a blog a “badly drawn” is an easy way to take pressure off the artist, because for some people, it’s easier when there’s no need to draw things well. “Badly drawn” blogs existed for about a year before “dailies” began appearing
Calling a blog a “daily” started with the idea that some artists wanted to do at least one drawing of their character every day, but you don’t actually have to post every day to be a daily! That’s just how they got their name
