Age of Calamity character ages (theory)
Alright I wanna start with the characters who we know the ages for sure of. The rest are going to be a range of like a basic idea like âyoung adultâ or âtoddlerâ if I really donât know how to gauge the age (*cough cough* Sidon *cough cough*).
Zelda is for sure 17. And Riju is canonically 12.
Link, I think, is probably around Zeldaâs age if not a bit older. If a bit older I like to think a year or two (Iâm a Zelink shipper Iâm sorry) but definitely old enough to be Zeldaâs knight. So around 17-19.
Impa, Purah, and Robbie: I know that Purah is a little older than Impa, and Iâm pretty sure Robbie is close to Purahâs age. And I think with the fact that Zelda and Impa are friends, theyâd have a similar age. And plus when we see Impa in BoTW, sheâs still alive, suggesting that she probably wasnât super old when the Calamity first appeared. So Impaâs 17 or 18 as well during Calamity time. Purah really doesnât feel much older then Impa, so 19-21 feel like a good age range for her. Robbie feels a little older so 20-24, because heâs still alive during BoTW time too.
Urbosa: I just get 30s vibes from her. She feels like she knows how to take care of children and has already led a pretty amazing life, being friends with Zeldaâs mother and kind of adopting Zelda herself.
Daruk: one of the elders of the Gorons, but I really donât know Goron ages work similarly to how I donât know how Zora age (I do have a theory on Zora but thatâs something entirely different) so maybe 50s(?) 60s(?). Just older for sure.
Yunobo: older teen. Doesnât give me quite the same feel as Sidon. The awkwardness definitely feels teen-like, but he doesnât give me the feeling of a 13 year old, but a guy thatâs trying his best but still has no idea what heâs doing. So about 15-16.
Teba: oh definitely late 20s. He has a kid canonically. He has a really fricken deep voice too. He doesnât give me the vibe of a middle aged adult, just a guy.
Revali: donât know donât care. Jk, I feel like heâs younger, since he doesnât have any descendants and is super freaking arrogant, which gives me the feeling of a kid. Of course Iâm not saying heâs a kid because heâs definitely an adult. Early 20s.
Mipha: she was young when she was told to pilot the divine beast, and they had to ask her father if she could, while the rest could do it themselves. She grew up with Link, and has a huge crush on him. She has to be pretty young, and I like to think of her as like a 14 year old. Still very sweet, naive, and willing to help anyone that asks. And sheâs small too, compared to older Sidon. If she had the chance to grow up more, I believe that she would probably be around his same height. Sheâs about as big as Riju, so she has to be 12-14.
Sidon: baby version? I just have to put him in the âtoddlerâ range because Zora ages are weird. Older Sidon? Young adult. And definitely gay or bi. Anyways. I have to say he looks like he would be about 20 or so, like college-aged. And his optimism is just so bright it makes me feel like heâs a lot younger then he probably is.
And Zora ages are interesting, because itâs 100 years of difference between toddler Sidon and YA Sidon. So about 21 Hylian years is a Zora year?? Maybe?? Idk, thatâs just my theory.
