Cozy Sunday Flights • Enjoying my snow covered morning thinking about flights at the travelers rest. This brewpub is located in the Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast. I sampled the Red Ale, Rye Ale, ESB and Imperial Stout - all were wonderful but the Rye really stood out. It was clean, distinct and well made. I just love that slightly spicy bite! • They offer a great pub menu with nachos, paninis, flatbreads and salads along with guest taps and non alcoholic options. ❄️ Snow Day Beer ❄️ • Beat the storm to visit the newest pub in Pittsburg, 1840. With a fun atmosphere, great food and an awesome draft list it’s no wonder it’s become so popular. Happy to see some familiar faces along with excellent service. • Pictured is Throwback’s Cheek Squeezer, a tart cherry kettle sour. They have this beer absolutely dialed in. Saturdays are for the brown ales • Shackett’s is one of my favorite -not so hidden - gems in the NH beer scene. Feeling like royalty 👑 • If you know anything about me you know that I love lagers and light beers so you know I had to give Su Sue Pseudo a try. This lager is made with the addition of raw honey to add subtle sweet, floral notes. It was light, crisp and wonderfully sessionable. They always have an outstanding variety of styles available from ESB to IPA’s. • You always feel like family when you visit Czar’s Brewery - the customer service is incredible and their beer is fantastic. I finally made it to Sole Track Brewery in Rumney and what a fun experience. They had an excellent selection of styles and I choose Atomik Blonde and Wildcat Wheat. The beers were clean and delicious and on for their style, but my favorite for the night was Atomik Blonde. It was light and drinkable, slightly sweet and tropical, I could enjoy this all day long. • The brewery was nice and busy when I visited and they even had live music and some awesome food options. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the experience wonderful, especially for someone like me who is visiting solo. • Thank you so much for a great evening Sole Track! Somer’s Stout • This traditional dry stout was light and easy drinking at 3.6%. They had a nice diverse tap list along with a full bar and creative cocktails. I enjoyed their Cuban sandwich while I sipped and it was excellent. • I’m happy to see this beautiful taproom and Brewhouse come back to life, it’s such a wonderful spot and I hope they continue to do well. • Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, I know I’ll be back soon! • Omnium Brewing Co. This crisp cold weather was the perfect excuse to cozy up at White Mountain Brewing Co. with their Blarney dry Irish Stout. I really enjoy the small town brewpub feel of White Mountain and their beer list always has something for everyone. • Blarney was predictable and wonderful, just how you would expect it to be. Flavors of roasted malt and coffee with a light body and dry finish keep this beer incredibly drinkable. One of my favorite styles, especially in the colder months. East Coast Steeze • The perfect way to recover after an intimidating .5k run, benefiting Strawbery Banke Museum This session IPA is light bodied and hazy with a resin like sweetness and dry finish. Schilling Octoberfest was absolutely incredible. I had no idea what to expect and it exceeded all of my expectations. Beautiful beer, views, weather and wonderful people made this fest absolutely unforgettable. I had the opportunity to volunteer with the NHBA and help pour beer - little did I know I would be riverside with Allagash and Hill Farmstead on my handles. • I’m holding the highly anticipated Memoria - a wood conditioned German-Style helles lager. Crisp, smooth and perfect is the only way to describe this experience. Sometimes even the most complex beers are easiest just simply enjoyed in the moment. Prost! It has been some time since I’ve made it to visit One Love and this past Monday I was sure to make time. The brewery and restaurant are located on the beautiful, scenic Kancamangus Highway in Lincoln, NH. I decided on the Northern Light helles lager; it was crisp, clean and slightly sweet. Lagers are not only one of my favorite styles of beer but they are also a great way to judge the quality of the beer they are creating. What an absolutely perfect day to visit Dam Brewhouse. With a gorgeous outdoor space and a variety of beers available I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my afternoon. • Keep NH Brewing Well is one of their two NH collaboration beers. Brewer Sarah is always working hard to bring her best to the taps and go the extra mile to support NH beer and it’s no surprise that they released 2 for this occasion. • KNHBW is hazy, hoppy and refreshing - with notes of citrus and a hint of sweet resin. It was smooth and so easy to enjoy. A wonderful experience I cannot recommend enough. Get out there end enjoy these beautiful autumn days! Beers, Boats and Sunsets - hardly felt like a Tuesday night with this crew. Fore River and Vacationland brought the beer and Not Fade Away Band brought the jams. Surfaces was the perfect beer to enjoy this trip with. A hazy, medium bodied IPA with flavors and aromas of overripe stone fruit and citrus. I haven’t been to the North Country since March! Visiting Copper Pig is a must - excellent beer + food coupled with beautiful views on the Israel River. I can never resist a peach beer so I had the Son of a Peach sour. It was bright and refreshing with the perfect amount of pucker.
