Old Photos
It feels so weird to look through old photos from college. 'Cause it's like ... that girl in the photo looks like me, but it doesn't feel like me. I feel that, usually, when you look at photographs you remember not only the memories, but also the emotions that the camera at the time was capturing. But, for most (admittedly not all) pictures, I just don't feel anything anymore.
Maybe I just don't really relate to that girl in the pictures anymore, or maybe she was just pretending to be someone that she wasn't.

If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you’ve made, if they don’t realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go.
Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free (via observando)
Why do people have to be this lonely? What’s the point of it all? Millions of people in this world, all of them yearning, looking to others to satisfy them, yet isolating themselves. Why? Was the earth put here just to nourish human loneliness?
