some lovely morning light, quite rare in winter. one of the things I really want to change this year is something I feel lots of us struggle with: how much and when to allow myself phone use. the morning is probably my most vulnerable time – I love to scroll in bed with my coffee which can leave me feeling groggy and unmotivated to start the day.
since the start of the year I’ve set new time limits on my phone so I can’t over-scroll and I committed to using an alarm clock instead of a phone alarm, which means I can leave my phone as far away from my bed as possible. it’s a small thing but it makes such a difference & is a change I am enjoying immensely :-)
