I’m actually surprised that people don’t often mention that Walter White is supposed to represent drug addiction when discussing his characters descent. He parallels Jesse and his clientele because while Jesse is addicted to doing the drugs Walt has become addicted to making them, he gets “clean” (stops cooking) and then starts all over again. He likes it, he gets a high out of it, he quits and then relapses multiple times throughout the show. It gets so bad that even the “criminal rebel outlaw” Jesse is confused, worried, and trying to change Walt’s mind about the path he’s taking, Jesse who was once encouraging Walt to keep cooking.

lalo salamanca is such a ridiculous fucking character. he kills people without even a shred of remorse, when he sees cops his first instinct is to grab his gun, he travels all the way to germany, seduces the widow of a guy that worked for fring, only to snoop around in her house for a bit, he's hiding in the sewer like pennywise, he only sleeps for one hour a night, when he talks to hector he recites the entire alphabet multiple times so that his uncle can spell a word, he dies laughing
