less of a takes a long stroll gal and more of a disappeared without a trace after breakfast this morning she might be back by nighttime gal. she has a number of acquaintances in the villages around lott's hill that she visits ( including two friends at the brothel who occasionally let her borrow suitable clothes for her outings as well as the family of the fisherman that rescued her from the God's eye). mostly these outings are confined to the riverlands, the farthest she has ever traveled on her own was to duskendale. will only travel the riverlands unaccompanied to all other realms, she will travel with a companion

❛ the boys have completely taken leave of their senses. ❜ the lady is unsure to whom she is speaking perhaps only to herself. there as she stands in the great hall surrounded by the aftermath of boyhood mischief : a calamity of plates and cutlery and the poor remnants of breakfast splattered on the fibers of the dais rug. fingers tighten against the cool handle of her cane, though it does nothing to steel her racing nerves, to cool the hot flush of embarrassment that takes hold of her.

going to do a very small disco drop tonight because im tired of being shy at my big girl age 🤣

what you hear is "aren't you the most beautiful boy in the realm?" but what you see is possibly the ugliest little dog you've ever seen that alerie found in the garden a fortnight ago and fed kitchen scraps for three nights during the hour of ghosts to lead him inside.

alerie definitely wants kids, she feels incredibly maternal towards her younger brothers, and over the years, she has come to see them as her own children. I feel like she's more of an adopter. I see her having a mess of little foundlings throughout her life, especially as an older woman. childbirth is not really appealing to her and she does have a lot of trauma related to losing her own mother to childbirth, but it's a possibility for her.

in honor of mother's day, I have been momnapped by my child and my brothers, so activity will come later ❤️

so I got home this morning from therapy and there is a tree down in my yard, I shall try to be as whimsical as possible about this

alerie, in some ways is pretty content with being a spinster. her dislike of not being married is based purely on the fact that it's something her father won't allow her to do. he's always used control under the guise of protection. it's never been an outright no, more like put off to some near future that slowly crawls further && further into time. she's not well enough, it wouldn't be good for her delicate condition to be away from family, lott's hill couldn't possibly run without her influence that type of nonsense. it almost makes marriage seem like a sort of freedom for her. the idea of being a man's wife gives her the ICK but it's less of a slap than being controlled like a child at her big girl age.
