I got a job at a gas station across from a casino and a guy keeps coming in to buy whole cartons of cigarettes and talks in the third person calling himself "snake eyes pete" and every time I tell him his total hes like "tell ya what if old Pete rolls a snake eyes why dont you give it to him for free?" and he rolls the same set of loaded dice on the counter and it does not matter how many times he rolls snake eyes I will not give him the cartons for free he gets so mad

this is getting traction outside the Precure fanbase where I think people are assuming a random anime was namedropped and are posting similar "nerdy" comic strips.

But I want to make clear why this is especially surreal and jarring to me and a lot of other Precure fans: This is an anime franchise that, for all intents and purposes, was almost completely unknown in the West - and hardly legally available at all - until literally last year and in fact I think this might be the very first time Precure has been referenced like this in any Western media...

...and it was in fucking Rex Morgan M.D.

この文章は『オカワリいただけただろうか？』の現在の状況についてのお知らせですネガティブな話なので言葉を柔らかくしようとも思ったのですがそうすると遠回しな言い方になり伝わらないかも…と思ったので結構そのまま伝えようと思います。楽しく読んで下さっている方にはショックなこともあるかと思います。先に謝っておきます…すみません…

①『オカワリいただけただろうか？』3巻は紙(物理本)はでないのか？

まず2巻を購入してくださった方はこれは…？となったと思います (2巻ご購入いただき本当にありがとうございます…！)

「3巻は電子版で発売予定！」と書いてあるのですが 2巻の発売の時点では電子版では絶対に発売しますよ！ということでこういう表記になっていました。

2巻発売後も1、2巻の紙の本がたくさん売れたら3巻も紙で出して貰える…という状況だったのですが今(2026年7月24日)も紙の本で出せるほどは売れていないので今の状況では紙の本は望み薄いです…

ですがこれからめちゃくちゃ売れたりしたら紙の本を出して貰える可能性は0というわけでは無いです。

最新話公開時や、その他、セール時、無料公開(などがあれば)などの機会で宣伝は続けていこうと思っています！私自身、紙の漫画が大好きなので諦めきれないですし (印刷が本当に綺麗で好きなんです。トーンの点々が綺麗に印刷されているし線もいい感じにザリッとして見えるし…リンネちゃんの免許証の本名もよく見えるし…) 折角1、2巻を紙の単行本で買っていただいた方に申し訳ないですし、3巻も並べて貰いたいので…

②『オカワリいただけただろうか？』の連載継続について

漫画の連載は色んなパターンがあって最初から〇巻で終わる予定だった場合や売れたら続刊、売れなかったら終了　などがあります

『オカワリいただけただろうか？』は売れたら連載を続けられるパターンの漫画なので 1、2巻の紙、電子書籍の売り上げが伸びれば続けることが出来ます

ただ、3巻の紙の本が難しいという点でも分かる通り現状では継続は厳しいです

『オカワリいただけただろうか？』は作っていて楽しい漫画で自分でも気に入っており、まだ続けたい気持ちがあるので上でも書きましたが今後も宣伝を続けていこうと思います！

③最後に…

連載を継続させることは本当に難しいですね…。お話しの内容や、運もあるとは思いますが今まで連載をいくつかさせて貰いましたが、4巻を出せたことが無く、いつか4巻、5巻…と出していくことが夢で『オカワリいただけただろうか？』はそうやって続けていける話を想定して作っていたのですが…難しいですね …まだ諦めてはいないですけどね…！

読んでくださっている皆様には引き続き不安な想い、寂しい想いをさせてしまうかもしれなくて本当に申し訳ないのですが『オカワリいただけただろうか？』はまだお話しの途中…なので、お付き合いいただければ幸いです…！
