last night's changeling was so much for EVERBODY, but if i can indulge in Flax's point of view:

they had their dance with the Summer King. the moment the two of them fell into position, their steps were in perfect sync thanks to the ST and i rolling identical numbers. gliding across the ballroom in front of hundreds of guests, Gaz immediately told Flax he knew they can't be trusted. too obedient, too quick to follow orders from others, not hesitating to sidestep around discussion of their keeper (who they are still in service to). then Flax rolled a critical success on their single chance die to convince the king they mean no harm to the Freehold. the suspicions abated, and in a rare moment, Flax showed genuine surprise when the king ended their dance in a dip, softly requesting they speak again later in the night

then the Huntsman made his move in secret!! half of us are chasing him, during the first day of Summer's reign where all confrontations with attacking gentry are contractually obligated to fight to the death!!!!!!!! i love changeling the lost. i'm going to throw up
