Hey guys! I want to help raise awareness about all the food that is wasted every year, particularly fresh produce/farm food! The worth of $165 billion farm food is thrown out each year and put into landfills, contributing to the largest portion of methane emissions. Not to mention the resources to produce this farm food accounts for 10% of the US energy budget, 50% of US land, and 80% of freshwater consumed in the US. By being more aware of what we eat and avoiding waste we all can make a difference not only in the United States, but the whole world! #savethefood @savethefood #ad
