A small content sigh escaped her when he wasn't upset that she had asked to leave early. He hadn't seemed upset at first anyways, but she still wanted to make sure. "Thank you." she said softly, though she knew she didn't need to thank him, she wanted to. "Bed is the best place for cuddles, always." she said softly after he spoke once they were in their room. Crawling into the bed and pulling him with her she waited for him to get comfortable before she snuggled in as close as she could get to him and relaxed. He was her safe place of warmth and love. Lana loved to be close to him and know that he had her no matter what.
Honestly he didn't mind that they left, Tom didn't mind at all being a social butterfly but sometimes he got drained. And it seemed like Lana understood that and he was glad for that. Tom would never truly be upset with her especially if she wanted to leave somewhere. "Anytime, love. You know me." Honestly she didn't need to thank him at all. "Mhmm..I can completely agree with you on that one." Moving into their bedroom, Tom moved into the bed with her when she pulled him into it. Getting comfortable, he wrapped his arms around. Feeling how relaxed she was. Kissing the top of her head gently. "I love you, and you know I'm always here for you."
Maybe adventure waited for them tomorrow as well, but for now; thankfully -- they were home safe and sound and cuddled together. They didn't always need to be out and about or stay home and just chilling. They had a mix of things going on in their lives and she loved being able to share everything they did together; she was grateful for it. He understood her in many ways that other people in her past never had, and having that now made her feel safe and secure in their relationship and in the friendship they also shared within that relationship.
"You are always here for me." she repeated with a soft sigh of happiness. "I'm always here for you." she said softly, leaning back to give him a soft kiss before laying her head against him once more.
