Another baby girl quilt. I never get tired of making them. These colors! š
New watercolors, I had to try them out. āŗļø 12ā x 24ā.
I havenāt posted any of my abstract paintings here before but Iāve been at it for over a year now, and it brings me a lot of joy. This is my most recent piece, as yet untitled. 24ā x 30ā, mostly acrylic on canvas.
Dream room.
It's my 13 year anniversary on Tumblr š„³
Quilts, lately.
Little cutie.
Itās still really hot here but I am dreaming of fall. ššššš
Happiest happy mail ever! I cannot believe how amazing this all is, there is so much to behold! Way more than I anticipated. Worth the 7 month wait and worth every single penny. To be a Xiao Zhan fan is such a joy and honor. He is just the loveliest human, inside and out. ā¤ļø
Finished the holiday quilt before the holiday! No mean feat this year, there just arenāt enough quilting/painting/reading hours in a day, sadly. I love how this turned out. A friend said āit looks like an old quiltā and that made me happy.
Another personal favorite. This one is now in my sisterās house so I get to visit it from time to time.
Current work in progress. I plan to have a quilt to display for every holiday and I wanted to use up some of my very precious, very hoarded Liberty fabric, so⦠two birds, one stone. I love it already and I donāt think Iāll rearrange it very much.
This is one of three memory quilts I made a few years ago for the wife, mother, and daughter of a lovely man who died of cancer much too young. I mixed in a few of his dress shirts and T-shirts with other fabrics to make this one for his mom. She recently passed away as well which I was very sad to hear.
Another Maggie Pearl quilt. I made this for my nieceās graduation gift and the only directive from her was āhot pinkā.
A friend thrifted this quilt and asked if I could repair it. It was in pretty bad shape when I got it, most of the windows were no longer connected. After pondering it (for nearly a year!), in the end my solution was to use a decorative stitch to anchor everything back down. This might be the heaviest quilt Iāve ever worked on, it was a real workout! I have to admit I really hated to give it back.
