Adult Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari will likely feature in Eva 3.0+1.0.

On February 21st, 2019, Khara (Hideaki Anno’s production company) tweeted (since deleted) a series of pictures depicting a stack of animation frames for Evangelion 3.0+1.0:

Savvy Japanese fans noticed transparents of Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari in the foreground of the cover page, along with a series of heights. More visible once you edit the resolution:

(There looks to be more drawings to the left of “Different Rei”, but they’re even harder to make out.)

Toji’s height is listed as 182cm/5′11″ (taller than Kaji!) - so he’s 28 years old. Likewise, Hikari’s height is listed as 169cm/5′6″ and Kensuke’s height is 179cm/5′10″. Either Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari are alive, or they’re slated to appear somehow in a flashback (as adults).
