What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

Well he hates alcohol. Never took to the taste of it, though he occasionally will drink wine or champagne. Additionally on his list of pet peeves is people chewing loudly, lip smacking, putting fingers in their mouths after eating. A lot of general things really. But what he finds most repulsive is the idea that man can disrespect one another and do the cruel things they do. 

How does your character behave around people they like?

Well he’s generally a fairly pleasant person, or so he would like to think. He’s prone to joking around and being more outgoing if he likes someone and can actually lower his guard around them when there’s trust. He’s also prone to grooming his friends such as straightening out a tie, fixing a collar, picking lint / stray hair off a shirt, adjusting a female friend’s necklace. 

Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?

Both depending on the circumstances and the particular situation. He has no issues with the idea of eliminating a threat if the situation calls for it. However if he has to behave more diplomatically for one reason or another, he will stand down and remove himself from the situation if it is the right call. 

How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

This is a bit of an odd question. Since he is capable of falling in love, yet he is equally capable of saying it without meaning it, though he prefers to be sincere about the notion. In terms of difficulty, he has no real issues pertaining to love and expressing his emotions.

So the reason why Dominic doesn’t drink. He was introduced to alcohol in high school like most people. His roommate at boarding school had gotten a hold of some Jack Daniels and Dominic thought it tasted like shit. No matter what he cut it with. His second experience was with jello shots in college when he turned 21, once more hated the taste. 

While 90% of the time he’s that asshole drinking water or tea, he occasionally will force down a glass of champagne or wine during the holidays or special occasions.

Dominic had relocated to Philadelphia to attend law school, having turned down a few Ivy League colleges. A shy and quiet boy at first, Dominic had worked his way through the world to become quite an aggressive attorney in his own right. All while working hard to escape his connections to his family back in Connecticut. He works for the district attorney’s office, and has no hopes of following his family into politics.

He had come to Washington after the attack that had taken out the line of succession. His father being among the lives lost. While he is severely out of his element, the human rights lawyer is willing to offer any help he can to rebuild the government that had been lost.

Dominic is an attorney, specializing in criminal law and the occasional divorce. He prefers a simple life, a moral one, though he often finds himself in company of his more upper class clients and former peers from Oxford.Though, he has found the most successful way to gather clientele is to merely listen to gossip and leave a business card abandoned on a table.

So in Dominic’s Antichrist verse, so unaware of what he is. And yet whenever he passes by a church he gets splitting migraines. Or when he touches holy relics, he feels a burning neurological pain.  Just Antichrist Dominic’s Central Nervous System telling him to piss off whenever religious things come into his life.

Also can I just say that the mental image of Dominic sketching while listening to the other attorney in the courtroom amuses me greatly. Just sitting there doodling on the margins of a notepad that he has some of his notes on.

Remembering Dominic interning with defense attorneys only to go and work for the DA before he got into human rights and immigration law. And just imagining that while he is so kind to his clients, that he’s brutal and ruthless in the court room.
