I really want to get into cosplaying so I can dress up at conventions, but I want to ask some questions I have to any professionals!

The drawing above is what I want to make, and I can sew well, I just don't know how to go about the wings!

There is a pair that sits behind the mask and another that sits behind my waist. Any tips of good tutorials that could help me making them?

And I think I'll need to dye the gradients into the fancier fabrics too. Help with that would be much appreciated!!!
