Greetings everyone! I would like to thank everyone for coming to the first two discussions at The Centre! It's been extremely touching to see us coming together during this time. Tomorrow, Wednesday 6/22 at 2PM, the Centre will be hosting Reverend Liz Miller from Edgewood United Church, a progressive Christian community with strong ties to East Lansing and Michigan State University. Edgewood UCC is especially active in efforts to promote social justice, cultivate interfaith collaboration, and support the area LGBT community. Reverence Liz Miller just moved to Michigan from Connecticut and is new to Lansing. From our conversation today emerged tomorrow's topic: what does interfaith collaboration look like in Lansing and surrounding areas? What are faith leaders doing to build tolerance in MI and beyond? If you're available, I welcome you to attend tomorrow's session to continue building this space at LCC. Thank you for your support! Best, Franchesca Cifuentes
