In my head one day Zoey enters Riley's bar, maybe for an hangout with her friends, a celebration of some kind and suddenly she feels this unexplainable tug towards the bartender and maybe she says something to someone she's with and they playfully push her to go talk to them and she's just like

'Sorry! I don't know why but...I feel like I know you...'

And Riley really wants to dismiss this as just a shy girl's attempt at flirting but they feel this tug too...

And eventually they start dating

So, I decided to start writing something about this stranger things fic I've had for a while.

I finally finished organizing all of my notes that I use as a backstory for what happened from the end of the series to 2011, when my fic takes place...so for now here's the moodboards for the fankids I made and who will appear throughout the story (yes, I made sure that they're all important to the plot in some way!)

Feel free to guess things about them, I'll put out more headcanons about them and my full notes in following days, while I properly start editing the full fanfiction!

I see your Will Never Found AU and I raise you Will and Bob Never Found AU

Basically Will is taken and never found in the first season as per usual but Bob, by miraculous means hops through the mother gate to survive the fire in Hawkins Lab. Bob lands in the Upside Down confused as hell but sees this tiny kid trapped in vines. He slashes frees the kid from the vines and runs off with him when Bob hears more demogorgons clicks.

Little does Bob know, he just saved Joyce’s missing kid. Anyway Will wakes up and they learn to survive the Upside Down Together, buddy cop style. Will gets an awesome father figure and Bob gets a cool son figure and it all works out.

Wait I raise you, AU for this AU of an AU!

There is this fairytale (should be German but maybe it's French or maybe even Italian...not sure) about a weeping queen who lost her baby girl (to a witch or an ogre depending on the version) and after years a brave knight goes on an adventure to find the missing princess and he does save her and bring her back to the queen who is kinda like 'Well, you saved my daughter so of course I'm marrying you' and they live happily ever after.

And I think it may just fight right in
