Mini - Hiatus 8.16.17 - ???

My muse for May has been real spotty these past couple weeks, so I’m taking a step back for now ( I’ll probably be back when SMHC comes out on bluray ) I’ll continue to do replies and send memes, but I won’t be as active. If you want me, whether for plotting or just to chat, I’ll probably be over at @freedxmhangslikeheaven

        why wouldn’t you think you weren’t   ?   the questions comes  ,  and mj stares rather forlornly into the air , not really knowing how to answer that without sounding bitter and sarcastic . cute seems like such an odd adjective to describe her though , because michelle knows who she is : knows how she looks and thinks and how maybe she won’t be winning any american next top model despite her ridiculous height . but cute . may parker had thought she was cute . that’s — that’s really new . at may’s request , mj sits slowly , awkwardly , not really knowing how to proceed .

It’s painful, how awkwardly MJ sat on the couch, as if the couch would break if MJ moved too much. So May did what she did best and threw herself into the issue. Her arm wrapped around the young girl, pulling her into the sort of comforting embrace May had perfected. “ You know, when I was in High School, I never considered myself beautiful. You look in the magazines, and the movies, and you see women who have an entire team of people dedicated to making her look otherworldly. And then, in college, I got the chance to work as a model- and my life changed. For the first time I saw myself as one of those girls in the magazine. I have to admit that I didn’t like what I saw. It wasn’t me, it was what the magazine wanted me to be. “ She leaned her head against MJ’s. “ So you may feel like you’re not cute- but that doesn’t mean that other’s don’t think you’re cute. “
