Frank

Meet Frank. I don't think I have ever met anybody who has had such an intense life as he has had. 47 years worth living - this is Frank.

When Frank was in his twenties, Satan had called him, promising him the world in return for Frank’s obedience towards his instructions. “I was told to murder, steal, and do many terrible things in return for something I thought I was able to receive, yet found it to be all lies. I would wake up in the middle of the night strangling myself and holding a knife. I have scars to show where I’ve tried to slit my throat with no control of stopping.” - said Frank. The tattoos on his arms symbolise the devil and his past prostitutes, namely Sweets and Pixie, where he is reminded everyday of this horrific, intense life he had when he worshipped the devil.

After many tough years, he heard a voice so powerful yet so loving and he knew it was the complete opposite to Satan’s voice. He knew it was God. “I am your father, I created you. I love you, so stop worshipping the enemy. I will show you a love like no other if you accept me into your heart.” Frank said he heard God calling him. Frank gave his life to God, and so was saved and forgiven. Ever since, Frank has experienced a love like no other. He has a completely changed and cleansed heart. It is so incredible to meet someone who has truly experienced the spiritual world on another whole level.

Frank is now happily married to a beautiful woman named Wilmor. They live in an abandoned garage in Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa. Wilmor is an artist who creates beautiful art from collecting waste from the streets in the city. Frank sells Wilmor’s art by knocking on doors around Cape Town. They both have a life filled with hardship, yet are able to get through each day because of their strong faith. God is using them in many ways to get through to many homeless, broken people.

These photos is me trying to give a loud voice for those who are barely heard in this world. Remember that everyone has a story - don't judge others, or you too will be judged. Many of us are so blessed, and we are called to something greater in life.
