Përshëndetje, everyone! As the Albanian HoD for @tmblrvision 2020 held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Albanian HoD has decided to internally select the artist + song that will be representing Albania in this year’s edition.

Dua Lipa will be representing Albania in this year’s Tmblrvision in Amsterdam with her song, “Hallucinate”! 🇦🇱

I’m sure a lot of you know who Dua Lipa is, so she does not need that much of an introduction. An English singer born from Kosovar Albanian parents, Dua Lipa attended the famously known Sylvia Young Theatre School. After graduating, she did some modeling work before getting into the music scene, and soon gained her notoriety after her song, “Be the One”, became a charted hit in 2016-17. Many hits soon followed, such as “New Rules”, “IDGAF”, and “One Kiss” among many others. In her first album, self-titled Dua Lipa, 9 out of the 12 songs in the album were singles that also did exceptionally well in charts worldwide.

She released her second album, Future Nostalgia, on March 27, 2020, consisting of a fusion of dance-pop, synth pop, disco, electro, and funk-pop genres inspired by Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Blondie and OutKast.

Hallucinate is a song featured in Future Nostalgia. However, it just recently became a single on July 10, 2020 – just three days ago!

As you can see, the grand finale did have some Easter Egg meanings - for example, the running order was paired as 4 - 3 - 2 - 1. So 4th place songs in the . Within that was the semi-final: semi-final 1 songs were first, then from there it was alternating, along with maintaining the placements from their semi.

Just added a little bit of dramatic irony ;)

Nach Algiers, Aus Deutschland: Grand Finale

Hallo und Wilkommen bei das Großesfinale von Nach Algiers, Aus Deutschland! This will be the official show that will determine Germany’s representative for @tmblrvision 2019 in Algiers, Algeria. The final will consist of eight songs, with all those songs qualifying from one of two semi-finals (Halbfinalen) that have happened in the past couple of days.

All these songs in this Grand Finale have been in the top four of their respective semis. Unfortunately, we will still not reveal the full results until after the grand finale, so you do not know how each song placed in their semi, but as said, all songs have been in the top 4 of their semis and thus qualified.

Hallo und Wilkommen bei das zweite Halbfinale von Nach Algiers, Aus Deutschland! Hoping this was going to be a post revealing the four qualifiers from Halbfinale 1 who will compete in the Großesfinale? Unfortunately, this will not be the case – you won’t be knowing until the Großesfinale takes place, and the full results will not be released until after the Großesfinale.

Likewise in Halbfinale 1, another selection of eight songs will compete for one of four spots to direct them to the Großesfinale, which will be the official show where we find out representative for Germany in this year’s Tmblrvision.

Deutschland’s National Final for Tmblrvision 2019

Hallo und Wilkommen bei Nach Algiers, Aus Deutschland, the national final that will help select the entry that will represent Germany in Tmblrvision 2019, held in Algiers, Algeria! Sixteen songs will compete for a chance to be Germany’s entry for Tmblrvision 2019.

In the mix of entries, we have German, English, and French! All of Germany’s entries to Tmblrvision have been in German, but could that change? That will be up to you to decide!

The national final will consist of two semi finals and then the grand finale, which will consist of eight songs - four songs qualifying from each semi.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE*

Semi-Final 1: 21 July – 23 July

Semi-Final 2: 24 July - 26 July

Grand Finale: 26 July - 30 July

2019 Melfest 2nd Chance

Hej och välkommen to Sweden’s national final, Melfest Second Chance (MSC)! Sweden’s entry for the 2019 ESC 2nd Chance contest held in Riga, Latvia, will be selected via a national final selection containing of 12 songs from this year’s Melodifestivalen.
