Very yellow daughter

I’ve been a little busy over the past few days but @sapphiclittlecryptid suggested a name for Cuckoopaw’s deceased older sister and it was so good I wanted to properly draw the happy little family before things went wrong

The daughter was named Warblerpaw for most of her life, and she was very peppy but much quieter than Cuckoopaw is lol. Upon becoming a warrior, she was named Warblerperch, but she didn’t get to keep that name for long.

Cuckoopaw’s mother

Another character for @scarechrow ‘s Patchverse!

Crawlstripe is a warrior in Sunclan and the mother of the most dramatic apprentice in the clan! She’s more quiet and reserved than the average warrior, not speaking to others much, but generally going along with what a majority of the clan wants at any given time.

She was a bit more sunny when her mate and first child were alive, but still not very sociable. She really only ever got close with her mate, being a little codependent with him, and was happy to have a small family with him. They both loved their daughter very much, and she grew up to be a good warrior. However, soon after Crawlstripe and her mate were expecting another kit, both he and their daughter died, leaving Crawlstripe extremely depressed and alone. She didn’t even name her new son until a few days after his birth, and she didn’t make an effort to be close to him like she had been with the other members of her family.

She doesn’t quite treat Cuckoopaw like he’s her son. She doesn’t talk to him about his deceased father or older sister, when she talks to him at all (which isn’t too often). At first it was purely a defense mechanism, she didn’t want to be so hurt if she lost another kid. But as time goes on she progressively views him as more annoying and wants to form a relationship less and less. She thinks it’s just easier to not be around him.

(I based Hoppaw loosely off of Zeke from Bob's burgers so him having a theatre kid buddy is SO funny to me)

OMG HE ABSOLUTELY DOES and he over-dramatizes it EVERY time 😭😭 acting it out to the best of his ability and everything too, I can even see him adding in little white lies of things that didn’t even happen because he thinks it’d make a more interesting story

Patchverse fanart woo!

I’m gonna start off by saying I don’t really interact with people or post on Tumblr, so I’m a bit nervous! Anyways, @scarechrow ‘s OCs and universe have CAPTIVATED me in a way like no other! The unique community and lore surrounding this story is absolutely delightful and I get so excited whenever there’s a new post. I think the people in my life know more about the Patchverse than actual Warriors lore from my yapping lol. All that being said, the only reason I’ve gained enough courage to post is because I spent a few days on a piece of fanart! I’m so excited to see where this story goes and see the universe expand.

aaaand I also ended up making an OC (which I haven’t done for anyone I don’t know personally either! Today’s full of firsts)
