New Wacom Cintiq!

I love my new Wacom Cintiq 13HD! This will definitely help in my pursuits for digital art and animation. My only complaint is the lack of touchscreen. :(

Stamp

I saw the awesome stamps that Jonas Soder made and wanted to see if I could recreate the scene. The idea is totally his, just an exercise in modeling, lighting and texturing in Cinema 4D. Check out his awesome work here:

Shiny Car Ad

I hate car ads, but currently they are paying my bills. To break the monotony of explosions, camera shakes, dust and debris, I thought a different approach would be more interesting. This time around I figured out who to do that cool flat/3D effect that I see in this style of animations lately. It was really simple once I figured it out. I used that effect on the Sunglasses, Beach Ball and Flip Flops.

Flick Break

I made a new spot for a client. I had a lot of fun making this. I started with drawings and brought them into Illustrator. I was inspired after watching a skillshare class hosted by Fraser Davidson. His work is amazing to me, so this is my meager attempt to animate in that style. I used After Effects, a little bit of Newton and a whole mess of shape layers and solids! Hope you enjoy it!

Exit - 5 Second Project

Personal project that we did at work. The concept was 'Exit'. Here is my attempt. All After Effects. Teh only 3D used is the bullet.

Office Space

Well ya see I have kids, and often times the kids get in my work area and when I get home my work area is all disheveled. So one last attempt to regain some peace an serenity, my wife and I decided to move my desk into our walk-in closet. It's a little cramped, but we'll see how it goes!
