Context: Continued from Day 17 part 6. This doc and the next one feature a reunion btwn Lunchlady Miru and Cheap in the diner! Py and I just wanted to have a nice rp together, and we thought it would be perfect for me to use the lunch lady since she’s interacted with Weehawken Cheap before. This allowed us to be super self-indulgent as we tried to hit as many nostalgia points as we could~ xP There was a lot of cool meta stuff we got to include too, and of course rping Miru loving her friends and trying her best despite her omniscience is always fun :,)
Also, just to note, Py was actually the manager for Camp Weehawken’s revival years, so without her organizing the entire AU during that time, I would’ve never created my lunchlady persona and had all that fun, so I’m extremely grateful to her for those precious memories.

Context: Continued from Day 17 part 5, though it’s like completely unconnected to it lol. I know the rp starts with “Today is her day off” even tho Miru was allegedly working in the morning but that was before I decided to include this rp into Day 17, okay? Okay.
I did this rp on a whim because i was bored and wanted to try rping Miru at the hotel gym while I myself was at the gym irl LOL. Thanks to Beth for humouring me. If you’ll recall, the one time I’ve interacted with Esther in the past was in Day 12 Intermission. This time, I decided that Miru would have a crush on Esther. 😂
My usual pre-pandemic gym routine was: 10 min treadmill, then mat exercises (squats, core strength, pushups, abs, obliques, hip abductions, squats), then weight machines like pull-downs, hip thrusts, lats, triceps, then end with 10 min treadmill. Takes about an hour in total. In this rp tho, I skipped the treadmill at the end in favour for a smoother and more natural ending to the scene.
I THINK this is also the first time I mention the 7th dimension..? If you’ll remember from Day 12 part 5′s description, I linked to a youtube series that talks about imagining the 10 dimensions. Context: Continued from Day 17 part 4 (and the hidden scene). Before you read this one, you should know that while the month-long rp with BJ was happening during Day 16, there was another month-long rp happening elsewhere: a Clown exorcism at the lighthouse, which Beth was a part of. Context: We finally have SCHRODER!!! :D This scene ALSO branches off from Day 17 part 2, and happens at the same time as Day 17 part 4 (in fact, it’s the same scene as Day 17 part 4, just from another perspective).
It was MY VERY FIRST TIME rping Ted Schroder! Elf and I rped this in private, outside of the beach au discord server, because we just wanted some low-stress rp to help me flesh out Schroder’s character a bit more. In the end I really liked what we did so I decided to make it canon to Beach AU. I call it a “Hidden Scene” because it’s like one of those secret scenes u can unlock only if you meet certain requirements in a video game. Extremely few ppl could’ve been able to witness this interaction in-universe.

Context: This scene branches off from Day 17 part 2! So it’s happening at the same time as Day 17 part 3. I think it was perfect timing for this rp to happen the day after Audrey encounters (and then forgets) Circe the Witch.
Required prerequisites to get the most out of this scene (and also the rest of the day) would be to read Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, and also to watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica (the best order is to watch episodes 1-8, then jump to the 2nd movie (Eternal), then watch the 3rd movie (Rebellion). If you don’t watch all of PMMM before Day 17 part 5, you will be spoiled for the anime, unless u don’t care of course.
This rp was done between me and an irl friend! We rped this in our irl friend group server first, and then copy and pasted our rp replies into the beach server. this way i could properly work as director and ask for changes before making the rp public. x,) I think my friend did a perfect job, they even read/watched the required prerequisites for their role.

This rp had 3 srs bsns goals. 1) Miru tries to get Theo to open up about Audrey’s death curse and giving him cryptic hints on what to do about it, since she’s been feeling really super guilty and wants to help but has to do it in a way that won’t mess up world order. 2) She also tries to foreshadow Collins stuff, because of....things that will happen later. 9_9 And 3) Schroder hints for the audience!!!
The whole convo is rather heavy, so the 4th and final goal was bird photo aftercare. :>

We did it!! I just wanna say that I had SO MUCH FUN drawing for this entire rp?? How do I express this… I just get so inspired to draw reaction images when I see my rp partners drawing reaction images. +v+ I love the way we can lift each other up like that. Surrounding urself with ppl who are good influences on you (not just in art, but in general) is the way to go, imo.

Context: Directly continued from Day 16 part 8. I’m gonna use this space to give some Circe context without spoiling too much. This is all stuff that Beth told me.
Circe is actually thousands of years old! She and her sisters were born in Ancient Greece to a titan dad, so that’s where her magic and height come from. However, while she and her sisters were all equal in beauty, Circe was the only one who was a witch. She couldn’t control her powers back then, so everyone including her mother fawned only over her sisters while staying away from Circe because she was different and scary with her magic.
This left Circe feeling very isolated, and out of jealousy, Circe cursed her sisters to be sirens. Her dad was obsessed with controlling the cosmos and wasn’t around much, but she blames her past isolation on him because his power is what made her abnormal. She eventually learned to embrace being a witch, but her life thousands of years ago still sucked for a long time, so there’s still a bit of bitterness and resentment that remains today. But ofc all of this is still no excuse for killing ppl lmao.
In mainverse, Circe becomes a goddess of witchcraft and creates all magical beings and monsters, but she was nerfed for Beach AU. :,) So here she’s just a very good witch. She currently values 2 things: her beauty, and her ability to do magic. And it’s her magic that has allowed her to stay beautiful despite being thousands of years old....
As for Collins, he knows she’s a witch, but it’s still supposed to be her secret, so he won’t ever ask her to use her magic to help him for risk of exposing her (but he’s sure ok with taking full control and advantage of his daughter’s powers lol)
Below is a summary of the doc (spoilers):
-Circe can’t see ghosts, and I think this is the first time Audrey’s actually grateful that she can’t be seen. And with Ted and BJ in position nearby, Audrey finds her courage and jumps into Circe and ends up…alone in a garden. This garden is rather eerie though and has Circe’s soul flowers and just like with Ted, Audrey’s thoughts start getting influenced by Circe’s soul.
-When Audrey “wakes up” from the garden dream inside Circe, though, she realizes that unlike Ted, Circe is still conscious and moving of her own volition. However, Ted doesn’t realize this and starts creeping into the room. Circe notices him, and BJ tries to tell Ted to run, but Ted trips on his bed sheet costume and falls down. Circe advances on him, threatening to kill him, and Audrey is panicking inside Circe. I also had Audrey think “it’ll be all her fault again if she loses another Ted” hmmm…
-BJ comes to the rescue by shattering a lamp on the other side of the room, distracting Circe from Ted, who takes this opportunity to throw his bed sheet over Circe before running off to hide. Circe tosses the bed sheet off and starts casting a spell towards Ted, but she suddenly can’t talk anymore. During the distraction, and out of the urgency to protect Ted no matter what, Audrey was finally able to take control of something: Circe’s voice.
-But another thing had been taking place at the same time. Turns out, Circe is actually like over 2000 yrs old and the only reason she’s retained her youth and beauty is because she’s been subconsciously running a magic spell on herself in the background all this time. However, when Audrey possessed her, that spell got interrupted, and now Circe is gradually aging. And since she can’t speak, she can’t manually turn the spell back on either.
-Circe finally notices that she’s decomposing like Mother Gothel, so she runs to the mirror to see if it’s true. It’s true. BJ steps in to haunt the mirror, making her reflection start creepily talking on its own, taunting her on her predicament, making a magic mirror on the wall ref and then finally popping out of it for a jumpscare.
-Audrey can feel Circe’s soul about to explode so she jumps out, and since she jumped out, Circe gets her voice back only to start SCREAMING in terror. Audrey and BJ run outta there to meetup with Ted in the hallway. Audrey feels like she ran a marathon from that possession but she’s relieved that Ted is ok and she’s also giddy from the successful haunting. She praises BJ on how scary he was.
-BJ is very proud of Audrey! He offers a high five and Audrey high fives him, delighted that she didn’t phase through and that she was actually feeling a physical touch while being a ghost.
-meanwhile, poor Ted is still traumatized from almost dying. Audrey and BJ tell him that he was right about Circe being a Disney witch who prized herself on her youthful beauty, and that they couldnt have succeeded without him. Audrey apologizes for the close call and reminds him there’s no way they wouldve let him die that easy, and then Ted toughens up, refusing to have them think he was scared
-Circe is STILL screaming in her room lmao so the boo crew go back downstairs to Ted’s suite. It’s almost sunrise now, which means Audrey’s going to disappear and respawn soon. Ted reminds her she can now visit him whenever during her dead hours, but Audrey knows this will depend on where and how she dies. She’s still super grateful tho cuz she realizes how lonely and miserable she would’ve been if it wasn’t for ted and BJ. It actually wasn’t so bad being dead tonight—in fact, it was really great and she actually enjoyed being a ghost for once, so she thanks them.
-Audrey notices Ted’s still looking kinda emo, so she asks for his phone so she can give him her number, cuz who says they should only hang out when she’s dead? Plus this would be a good experiment to see if something like a phone number would stick after the respawn/memory wipe. However, she doesnt even get past the “A” in her name when dawn hits and she disappears for the 3rd time tonight, but this time its for real.

Context: Continued directly from Day 16 part 7. FUN FACT: we almost decided to timeskip the ENTIRE possession lesson sfhfgjfjdfhfg like all the way starting from the beginning of Day 16 part 7 with the lamp up til the end of this doc! holy shit can u imagine
As I mentioned in the last doc, during the time of the rp I had recently finished watching all of neon genesis evangelion, so I was eager to compare human possession to piloting an eva, which is really more biological than mecha. Basically you sync your soul to the eva and if ur a good match, you can sync enough neurons with it to be able to control it. It also takes a bit of mental skill to sort through the host’s psyche, which impacts control as well, as shown in NGE. It’s so simple and elegant, yet complex at the same time, i love it….so i decided to pretend that’s how human possession works in this rp.
The way we rped Ted being possessed here was, I would tell Elf the outline of what I wanted Audrey to make Ted say and do, and Elf would type it out however they wanted and I 100% trusted them to bring my vision to life and they did it perfectly +o+ god if only other ppl could just rp for me all the time cuz that was great.
Another long summary of the doc below (spoilers):
-Before BJ gets the chance to break it up, Ted falls onto the floor and Audrey judo slams right into him and disappears, accidentally possessing him. She wakes up, disoriented, having dreamed about a garden (it’s implied here that she encountered Teds soul), and thinks she’s alive again at first and having sleep paralysis or something bc she can’t move and there’s a demon in the corner yelling things at her, but it turns out to be BJ scolding them for getting too ahead of themselves. And it’s only at this point that Audrey remembers again that she’s a ghost, it’s just that she’s inside Ted’s body now, possessing him.
-After figuring out how to speak, sit up, and stand, Audrey attempts the 360 headspin like she saw on The Exorcist, causing Ted’s body to lose its balance and topple over, hitting his head along the way. The bump was enough to make Audrey lose her grip on the possession tho, so she pops out, winded.
-BJ was scared for a sec that she was gonna kill Ted with that headspin but now he’s just laughing and feeling proud, meanwhile Ted had been unconscious that whole time and doesnt rmb a thing. but he does feel a painful bruise forming on his forehead. Audrey uses her ghost hand to phase against his booboo like an ice pack, as a symbol of reconciliation after their playfight/possession antics.
-and now its time for the final boss, circe. BJ phases thru the ceiling to peek at where she is, then he peeks thru the floor into floor 13 and takes mental note of whatever he saw. hmmm! All three of the boo crew anticipate that Circe’s gonna be unconscious during the possession as well, so they start coming up with a plan of attack. Ted’s ready to sit this one out, but BJ says he just needs a disguise, so he tosses a bed sheet over him, complete with 1 (one) eye hole.
-Audrey is understandably skeptical of this disguise, and she knows they shouldn’t underestimate Circe. Now that the time has come, she’s starting to feel rly nervous, but she allows Ted to come along so long as she and BJ and can keep him safe. Because 1) Ted missed out on his own possession, so this time he can watch, and 2) Having to face ur own murderer again isnt easy, so Audrey liked the idea of having more moral support. And also in hindsight 3) I guess it’s hard to foresee all possible things that can go wrong sometimes, and at this point Audrey was prolly half hoping the bed sheet was gonna work like an invisibility cloak. Will this turn out to be too much faith?
-BJ leads the charge and phases thru the ceiling, forgetting that Ted can’t phase thru things and that Audrey can’t float. So Ted and Audrey take the stairs lol. BJ comes out to meet them and they scoobydoo peek around the door inside to spy on Circe, who’s busy removing her makeup in front of her vanity mirror.

Context: Continued directly from Day 16 part 6. The Beetlejuice refs continue as well, so I’ll do my best to point them out again.
I don’t think it was ever mentioned explicitly, but when the Clown walked thru ghost Audrey in Day 14 part 6, it unlocked her ghost powers, and so far we’ve been seeing her accidentally display them in the form of floating tears and more importantly, electromagnetic interference.
It was planned early on before the rp started that BJ would teach her how to possess ppl, as a ref to the movie. I then tried doing research on human possession so I could get an idea on how to rp it but...google only kept telling me what it felt like to BE possessed rather than what it felt like TO POSSESS someone, so it was pretty useless LOL so we figured we’d just make up possession lore ourselves along the way since it’s you know...Not Real!!
Ash then told me that by “possession” he means it as an umbrella term that covers both human AND object possession (i.e. electromagnetic interference). So that means that Audrey possessing the lamp in this scene, and later the TV, was just her controlling her electromagnetic interference powers, and then I realized: it could make sense if I had Audrey think of lamp->TV->human as increasingly complex levels of electromagnetic interference, since neurons in a human body generate tiny electrical signals as well. So how’s THAT for possession mechanics, huh? >:D
I then added and mixed in extra elements like psychic abilities for the TV and flower symbolism for humans, as well as phasing into things for better control, all of which I guess I’ll explain inside the doc because this is getting kinda long lol. But I really feel like I am onto something here. 😂
Below is a summary of the doc (spoilers). Again, it’s super long, so u might as well just read the doc:
-BJ’s lesson plan is to start small and work their way up to humans, so he tells Audrey to possess a lamp in the room and make it turn on. Audrey has no effin clue how to do that so BJ points out to her that she’s already been making the lights flicker every time she got excited. So she just has to control those emotions and channel them into “juice” and juice that lamp on like playing an instrument. Audrey’s been completely oblivious abt her accidental electrical interference powers until now, though, and she only now realizes she must have turned the TV on the night before in front of Theo.
-Anyway, Audrey concentrates on the lamp. She works herself up to anxiety attack levels, reliving the emotions she went thru during tonight’s murder, but the lamp still wouldn’t turn on, so then she throws a tantrum, which blows out ALL the lights of the hotel suite. BJ had said she’ll KNOW when she gets it, and it’s at this point that Audrey finally gets it, and she turns the lamp on by thinking of a happy thought. So now it seems we have negative emotions = OFF, positive emotions = ON, which is more like how Elsa controls her ice powers.
-Audrey is absolutely thrilled with her newfound ability, and after practicing her lamp juicing skills some more (and causing BJ to have to insert an epilepsy warning), she’s assigned her next task: make the TV play The Exorcist. And who knows, maybe she can learn something from it, he says.
-Audrey has no clue again how she’s supposed to do that, but she tries anyway. I had fun here having her channel surf for a bit. After some very carefully chosen programs on the TV, BJ already has his 3D glasses and popcorn out and Audrey still has no clue how to make it play The Exorcist until she randomly thinks of Beth’s psychic powers.
-So! Audrey reaches a VOD channel, juices it into static, and uses the static noise to go into sensory deprivation mode so she could tap into the nearest satellite and pull The Exorcist out. I decided here she would need to phase her fingers into the screen for better control, which (SPOILERS) aligns well with having to walk right into a person to possess them later.
-The Exorcist is playing now and BJ is completely into it bc it’s his fav movie. Audrey tries to study it like BJ suggested so, and she learns that exorcism is death for the dead. She’s also rly impressed by the 360 headspin, to which BJ responds vaguely abt whether she’ll actually be able to do that.
-Audrey is ready to move on now, but BJ is still distracted by the movie, so Audrey swings her whole arm into the TV (having learned that phasing into things makes them easier to juice) to change it to My Little Pony and Ted brings a lamp over to manually turn it on and off in BJ’s face and i just loved picturing that slapstick moment. However at this point Audrey also realizes that the longer or more difficult of a ghost thing she does, the more tired she feels, which is new bc she’s never felt physically tired as a ghost before. hmmm maybe she’ll need to work out her juicing muscles to get better.
-time for a short break. Audrey asks how long ago BJ died, given that he’s so powerful, and BJ lies and says that actually he’s existed since the beginning of time. Also he prefers to be referred to as a demon than as a ghost even tho he’s both. He also brags about how he doesn’t age so he gets to keep his good looks. Then he does the duck face smolder as a ref to the askblog days, but ends up almost making himself sad because it made him think of Spook, rip..
-On to human possession. BJ explains that possessing a human is like hijacking a car, but u gotta find their soul first, and he also warns that Ted and Circe prolly have v diff souls. Audrey acknowledges her ghost self is a soul as well, and asks Ted if he’s ok w being hijacked, and Ted says he’ll allow it just for tonight since he wanted to help her learn.
-In order to get to Ted’s soul, BJ suggests Audrey stick her hand right into his heart, but not to possess him yet. So she does that, and she sees images of Ted’s soul flowers and then she starts having thoughts influenced by the meaning behind those flowers, and then she realizes she’s feeling his soul, which Elf told me would feel warm and heavy with guilt for a lot of things. Audrey points this out to him, and Ted starts feeling awkward from the self realization so he shrugs it off with a joke. Audrey sees thru the facade but she plays along anyway and then tries to lighten the mood by phasing her arms up and down thru him (ghosts feel icy cold when they phase thru u), and soon they’re playfighting even tho neither of them can land a physical touch. But Ted’s soul does feel lighter w the mood lift, so it seems souls can change vibes
-Before BJ gets the chance to break it up, Ted falls onto the floor and Audrey judo slams right into him and disappears
