it is a common occurrence in SG-1 that somebody says "we're gonna do a thing" and Carter says "the science says you should NOT do that thing" and then they either do the thing and it's Bad or they're about to do the thing when Carter comes up with a brilliant alternative plan at the last minute and stops them before they do the thing and I'm just like when will you people LEARN that Samantha Carter is ALWAYS right, we didn't need to spend 20 minutes on your plan to blow up the SGC when Carter already told you it's a bad idea
