It's 12:38 am Saturday 17 February, my phone rang waking me from a nice dream.

The caller says he is Fred Swartz from the fraud department of the Bank of Montreal and informs me of a fraudulent transaction of 250$ from skip-then dishes. I said well skip that cause it is not from me. He tells me my address and phone number. He went on to say he has sent an email code that I need to read back to him.

There is nothing on my the call except unknown number and the email says this will give access to my account. I ignored it and hung up.

He called back immediately urging me to get it done to cancel the order from skip the dishes. I called him a fraudulent scammer and hung up again.

He immediately called back and gave me my address, phone number and stressed how important this was and I need to read the code number to him so he cold cancel the fraud I attempt.

I used some strong words and hung up.

Called my bank informed them and the RCMP as well. The bank could see the skip the dishes order which was declined. Hope they can trace it. The RCMP will call me sometime this week.

Not a happy camper this morning but then again I have avoided a loss of money.

"Be careful folks the scammers are hard at work"!
