So today i got my hands on the Doom Eternal helmet and...

One thing i never realized DESPITE the fact that i did height charts and proportions of ocs next to Doom Slayer in armour AND out of it is the fact that the helmet is like.. comically huge. I was expecting it to be the size of an average biker one but its almost on par with my abdomen.

But it checks out when i look at Slayers chart next to someone my height because, yes, it really would be that big in real life.

So im about 4 helmets tall.

Excuse me for being skeptical but how can i be excited about these news when a chunk of the people that made modern Doom what it is today got mass fired?

This feels like damage control after the fan base got upset, especially since I've seen people sharing the same post again and again about how the team is about the same size as it was during the development of Doom 2016. It definitely does NOT warm my heart to know that the team got gutted and now they are most likely putting more pressure on less employees to develop a whole new game.

Games and physical media are actively dying and to add to the fire Microsoft decided to "focus on certain franchises" by laying off half of the id Software team. If this is not a sign that things are looking bleak for the gaming industry as a whole i don't know what is.
