Take Five by the Dave Brubeck Quartet 🎶
Painting from Chauvet Cave in the Gorges de l'Ardèche, France, depicting a woolly rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis). This species, which roamed the steppes of northern Eurasia during the Pleistocene, was distinguished by its cold-adapted wool coat, noticeable hump, and massive frontal horn (as seen here).
Chauvet Cave is believed to have been occupied by prehistoric humans at two different times, first during the Aurignacian (ca. 32,000-30,000 years ago), when the majority of the cave's art was made, and then during the Gravettian (ca. 27,000-25,000 years ago). Discovered in 1994, the cave was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 and is considered one of the most important prehistoric art sites on the European continent.
