The greatest thing we can do for our LGBT brothers and sisters is to treat them like normal people who have their own skills and achievements just like the rest of us instead of making sexuality an identity.

Oh, and to acknowledge the fact that most LGBT people are just everyday people who want to live ordinary lives despite the fact that the media wants us to believe that most gays and transgenders act like the flamboyant and in-your-face peeps walking at the Pride Parades.

Hanami 2019 taught me something.
