I think the magic of Call the Midwife is that you have a group of women all in different stages of life, who support each other and have fulfilling careers that they love.
Like you can see and feel the passion for what they do on every call they go on.
Bonus is that they aren't struggling to survive doing what they love
I have been catching up on series 10-14. Son of a bitch. I just finished the episode where Cyril told Mrs Wallace that Lucille asked for a divorce. & trixie and Matthew whole frickin thingy. homeboy had all this money then screwed that up. May almost drowning. Fred having tetanus. I need Nancy and her fiancé relationship to work out. I can’t believe back then if your husband assaulted you nothing happened to him. It just boggles my mind.

“But Shelagh Turner remains, above all things, herself - clever, sharp, funny, a tiny bit bosssy, endlessly caring. An indispensable, loving partner to Dr Turner - and completely her own woman.” 🧡
Beautiful as always. 😍😍
