About a week ago my grandpa passed away peacefully. This photo was taken from my Grandpa's 90th birthday last August. There is so much happiness in this photo that it has given me so much comfort in this past week. Thank you Grandpa for supporting us, raising us (and raising us up) and loving us with all your being. I love you and you will be missed every day from all of us Slama clan.

Sometime around 1996 I found myself standing in the upstairs library of a drafty, suburban Chicago Victorian owned by a mentor, marveling at what seemed to be a neurotic collection of books.

I feel like I’ve stumbled on a goldmine... will be adding many of these to my Amazon Wishlist.

Banksy’s ‘Dismaland’ in England: It’s a Strange World, After All

“Dismaland,” a satirical take on a theme park created by the artist Banksy, features grumpy guards, funereal theme park games and works by about 60 artists.

I think the sculpture with the birds is my favorite.
