Why You Shouldn’t Force a Happy Ending
Usually, I’m not a fan of HEA (Happily Ever After). If anything, I’m a HFN (Happy for Now) kind of person, or even the generic tragic ending in generally, because when I try to write a HEA ending, it’s like I’m vomiting rainbows and unicorns. They’re usually too sugary, or too happy-go-lucky for me. And when I try to change the elements in the story to try to fit the ending, I’m not particularly satisfied with it.Â

Book Promotion: Review of Bknights
My book, Dog of the Coven, is a novella about a young man named Nick who suffers from a series of frightening experiences before finally realizing just who, and what, he is. It’s a gay paranormal romance that captured my heart from the moment I wrote it. I still remember publishing it on Kindle, and how proud I felt when I started the sales trickling in.

Background Behind Dog of the Coven
As you may or may not know, Dog of the Coven is about a young man who finds out about his heritage. It certainly doesn’t help that the guy he’s dating has secrets of his own, but in the end, it’s up to the protagonist to determine just what will happen. This is just a brief post about other inspirations surrounding the book.

Fallen Angels as Love Interest
When I was young, I remembered asking my pastor about fallen angels. We were at a new church and it was our first time. During the invitation, I strolled up to the pastor and asked him about those fallen angels. While he did humor me a little, we just didn’t have enough time for that sort of talk. Even so, he told me he’d gladly talk with me later about the subject. Of course, I got in trouble with my dad later, and I did feel embarrassed for a while, but nevertheless, I was intrigued.
