The Octave Collection - Part One

Month one of the set and of course its my favourite part of the home…the kitchen! This set has a lot of tiny details that I would love to explain to you all, but unfortunately I don’t have my microphone with me, so I can’t do my usual overview video to explain everything! 😔

The most important thing you need to know is all about those double ovens you have been waiting for! Unknown to me before I decided to tackle this project, the DHD built in ovens have a glitch which only appears if the counter they are slotted to isn’t empty. So unless you leave the counter above you oven completely empty, the oven door animation will look totally wonky and appear to open at floor level 🤦🏾‍♀️ Also if you have a low and high oven in game, your sim will always default to using the low oven. They will NEVER use the high oven, even if you queue up the action from there. So to allow you to have the double oven look and force your sims to use that high oven, I’ve included a decorative low oven, so you can still get the look and your sims will be forced to use the high oven like we all want to see!

I would have loved to make more appliances, but there just wasn’t enough time to fit them all in. Thankfully next time I do a kitchen I can add to them and future kitchen can also include the new appliance unit using the same dimensions, so you can mix & match everything.

hello everyone,

thank you all for waiting so patiently for me to finish this window set. i had to dive into some new stuff that i wasn’t familiar with before and it was a wild ride. anyways, i am very happy with the outcome of this set of 31 new windows! when i first started this project i was very inspired by refurbished warehouses and industrial style. while working out the form of the objects i decided to go for a more versatile version of lattice sash windows. i plan on expanding this set in the future with more build mode assets like doors and outdoor wall decorations! for now i really hope you like this set and have fun building with it. i can’t wait to see what you do with it. if you want to share your builds with me, don’t forget to tag me on any platform :) thank you so much for your support of all forms. i appreciate you all for always being so kind about my cc. it really keeps me going and makes creating sims content an even more fun experience for me 💛 this set comes with a total of 31 lattice sash windows including versions for all 3 wall heights.

5 of the windows have an opened version with slots for small objects on the window frame. you can search for ‘maple & s. constructions’ or 'charly pancakes’ to find the objects in the build/buy catalogue

Okay here’s what I don’t understand about animal crossing

The villagers just wear shirts okay I can vibe with that Donald Duck logic

But Isabelle and Tom Nook wear shirts AND PANTS (Timmy and Tommy are standing right there! Do they feel naked???)

Crazy Redd only wears pants and they’re not even pants, let’s be real that’s an APRON HIS ASS IS JUST HANGING OUT

The Able sisters couldn’t even agree on a dress code! Sable and Mable just have aprons on, no shirt or pants and Labelle is SERVING LOOKS the other sisters have to feel a little uncomfortable about this
