Normani laughed and shrugged. “I like the beat?” she offered as an explanation before waving it off. “It’s my twerking playlist so there’s no telling what may pop up,” she laughed. Now… the hard part starts,” she said with an evil smirk as another song began playing. This time ‘Flex’ by Rich Homie Quan began playing. She grinned and placed her phone back down then retook her stance. “Okay… just follow my lead, ready?” she asked. She waited for the beat to drop before before her hips immediately began moving fast. She rotated them into a circle before popping to the beat then leaning forward to make each side pop and do the tricks Lauren enjoyed so much. She went on for about 20 seconds before laughing and turning to face Lauren. “You can do that right?” she grinned.

"Oh yeah that's definitely the reason, ain't it? You have your own playlist for twerking. Okay so I need to jump on this ASAP" Lauren admitted, throwing her hands up in defeat at the band mates good idea at creating such a thing. Normani laughed as she pulled Lauren to her feet and nodded. “Okay fine, you’re my favorite but don’t tell Dinah or she’ll hurt us,” she admitted with a laugh, only half kidding. Dinah probably would abuse them if she found out Mani had said that. Pulling out her phone she found her music app and scrolled through her music. “Okay I need to find a song first,” she said clicking on a song. Tyga’s ‘Do My Dance’ started playing. It was the explicit version and she immediately pressed pause and made a face with wide eyes. “Shhhhh! Not… that one,” she said laughing. Scrolling through a few more songs she finally pressed play. ‘Strippin the Walk’ by Kstylis began playing as she turned the volume up and set it aside. Tugging her leggings up a little she took her stance with her legs spread and turned to look at Lauren. “I’m just going to start twerking for a few seconds and you can tell me what you want to learn okay? The first part you can definitely do. I mean he tells you what to do” she said. She waited for the chorus and immediately put her hands on her knees and began tossing her hips back and forth. Then like the song said she raised her hand and began doing the move Lauren already knew from the ‘Me & My Girls’ choreo. “See? Pretty easy right?”

Lauren watched as the girl pulled out her phone and automatically the song started. The brunette fell into a fit of laughter at the lyrics at the intro to the song and shook her head at Normani in a disappointed mothers way. "So that's what you listen to when the headphones go in" the girl laughed some more before calming down and focusing on their session. As Normani danced, Lauren very slightly copied the moves to get the idea and stood back up with a nod. "I think you need to do that again, didn't really catch what you did there" she smirked, referring to wanting to see her twerk again. "No seriously though I think I might just have this" she announced, stepping out to a more open space and waited for the song to come back around to the bit Normani danced to. When it did she placed her hands on her knees and moved her hips like the song suggested and then continued to transition into the routine they had learnt for me and my girls. "Was that okay?"
