How I feel when I’m with Daddy :3
This summer I am going to work out what I want to post on this blog and start doing it.
Here is the drug that'll make you forget it
All that exists is true, not only what exists in nature but also what exists in the mind. Verismo is a term not only barbarous but also false if taken to mean that only the real is true. The real and the ideal are both true.
- Francesco De Santis
Sara Bareilles | Once Upon Another Time
Already in love with this ep, and this song. I am in awe of what she referenced, here.

You see the flower.
Pale pink, in all its glory. Opened out, towards the sun.
It seems a shame to pick it, but you do. You take it.
You hope it’s enough to keep her happy, just for one more day.
One more day without a fight, without the ache that comes from knowing you aren’t good enough.
One more day.
One more day.
And so life goes on.

Gregory the grasshopper bounces. It’s what grasshoppers do, of course. He bounces and bounds, and leaps around, it’s what he’s meant to do.
But there comes a day, when he wants a change. He just wants to walk. He tries, he stumbles – his legs just don’t work that way.
“How can I have legs so strong, but be so slow this way?” he asks the sky at large. No answer comes: he expected none.
Now, he tries to run.
Again, he halts, for progress is slow. He looks around, and speaks again.
“I know, I know, I’ll skip,” he says, “for skipping is almost like jumping.”
He tries, and tries, and tries again, but the movement will not come.
“Alas,” he says, "that doesn't work either." He spots a flower on a nearby bush, a fair hop skip away, and thinks “that looks appealing.”
So he jumps, and bounds, and springs to life, and reaches it in no time at all.
Gregory the grasshopper eats, content.
Perhaps bouncing is the right thing to do, after all.
lullaby
Sing me to sleep, you say, though I have no voice.
I would, I would, were the choice mine.
I love you more than I can say, more even than I can sing.
And you know I’d sing you anything.
I’m afraid I can’t, my darling, not tonight
Instead, have this: my own lullaby.
Sleep well, sweetheart, I hope you dream well
And that your sleep is sound, your breathing true.
Let your heart be healed, the wounds of time erased
In sleep, the one true bliss.
Let me kiss your hands, your feet, your hair
I’ll think of you
Every minute, every day
Goodnight, my love, and goodbye.
the swirls
The swirls in the air, they float, they fly. They can’t be touched, or preserved, or sometimes even seen. Around and in, always there, waiting. Waiting for a wish, a hope. Something to carry them. The wonder, the simple joy, propels them.
Never still.
She reaches out, she grasps again, but touches nothing. Closes her eyes, and they dance. She senses them, and so believes. Inconcrete proof, she knows. She’s blind to them. Wants them, wants to know them, wants to feel them. Not enough.
She opens up and out. Her limbs spread and tangle with the air, but nothing comes. The silence screams, and so does she. She reverses, curls inwards. Her limbs now tangle with themselves, she falls deathly silent. Holds her breath, steady. A glimmer, a wisp, spirals away again. The release of air, only her exhale. Disappointment clouds, and covers.
Enough. She sighs, there is nothing. Nothing worth the time.
She floats, herself. Above, unthinking, unfeeling. She forgets.
They dance, they flit, never still. Never static. But they whisper, and they come.
They fly, she lands.
The swirls they soar, and then collide. Her eyes open, and she really sees.
They take hold.
She smiles.
But so many people are looking to me To be strong and to fight But I'm just surviving I may be weak but I'm never defeated And I'll keep believing In clouds with that sweet silver lining

I've fallen in love with this song. It's me in a nutshell.

Hey all, it's Lauren (rdmation)
I decided to make a new account to follow all you lovely people, because a lot of your posts tend to get lost in the flood of fandom on my dash.
Not sure if I'll actually use this to blog, so no need to follow me back here unless you really want to. Or, if you want an excuse to stop following the other one and follow this instead be my guest.
