Really quick scribble/speedpaint to show process :) maybe not my best example because I was trying to use the worst palette spread of all time but I hope this is illuminating. I think I lift a lot of sketching/lineart techniques from my friend Pear (@/Peargor on Twitter) and he's a much better artist than me so if you like the way I draw you should check out his stuff :)
