“Sometimes it is clearer in those who lie than in those who tell the truth. Truth, like light, blinds. Instead the lie is a beautiful twilight that gives prominence to every object ».
Albert Camus, "The Fall"
Gisèle Freund - Self-portrait
Being offline is a luxury – a quiet oasis in a sea of digital frenzy.
It means lingering in a space where time is not governed by the constant chase for likes and messages.
It is the moment when you no longer follow the wave of expectations and impressions, but become the ocean yourself.
Yet sometimes this luxury is also an escape-not from the world, but from oneself, from the thoughts that rage like storms within.
It is the moment when you free yourself from your own shadows, which so often follow us in the digital realm.
Sometimes you flee from the fake faces that shimmer like masks in a theatre of superficiality, where encounters are nothing more than flickering lights, obscuring the true depth of being.
To be offline is to dive into the jungle of the self, far from the artificial brilliance of the world, and to realize that true connection does not happen through images and posts, but in the silence of the moment.
