Beautiful day for a little river-to-river run. Not fast, but my first time going this distance without having to walk at least a little. In case it looks like I’ve suddenly become able to just run or that any of this is easy for me, it’s been a HUGE effort to even get this far, and it’s all about setting small, achievable goals and then being willing to keep mushing myself (or, at least, to let @elishacause push me 😂) #gettingreadyfor30 (at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

Getting older is an interesting thing. I almost wonder why we count age in years rather than viewing the process as more of a zooming out, a widening of perspective. I’ve spent my entire live making a series of decisions, some focused on longer term plans, some with a shorter-term reach, but each one has been made with absolutely no idea of what the outcome would actually be. That’s life, right?

Last day in California with @elishacause: its fitting to post our nicest day of the trip on the grossest day in Philly 😒 Sunday was 78 and sunny.. we were able to go for a run and had an amazing last dinner on the water, delayed by attempts to take pics of the skyline being interrupted by E’s vape and face 😂 we managed to get a couple good ones though..
