Ryan Ross & Pete Wentz.
There has always been speculation around the fob/panic! fandoms that Pete Wentz and Ryan Ross had some sort of romance/sexual relations in the early days for p!atd. Here i have some āproofā gathered that suggests the rumours werenāt false after all.
Firstly, here are some messages between the two - in 2004 - where Pete is questioning Ryan about the band, before he signed them to the record label.
As you can see, Ryan refers to Brendon as ādead sexyā (ryden oof) and then continues basically say āheās not as hot as you thoughā which is CLEAR FLIRTING. This may be a simple joke, but it still happened, so take it as you will.
Also, here we have a quote from Pete. Thereās a clear theme of mutual attraction by now. Iāll just let you read this one for yourself.

Now. In this video, Ryan is undeniably awkward and hesitant before he answers. May i also add, although he says they didnāt āhook upā he ALSO said āclose thoughā which could mean a lot of things. How close Ryan?
Thereās not a lot i can say about the video except that it makes it pretty obvious theyāve done things together.
So far, all iāve really given āproofā for is the sexual aspect of these possible past lovers, yet this next one proposes the idea of a deeper connection.
(this conversation happened after the panic! split) Above, Ryan says that he thought he was more to Pete than what heās shown. This indicates that what they had meant a lot to Ryan, or was even an actual relationship. Otherwise, i donāt believe Ryan would seem so annoyed/upset by it, let alone bring it up; years later.
Lastly, there are numerous pictures of the two online, where they seem to be a little.. close and i decided to share a few of those with you too.
Whether the past of Pete Wentz and Ryan Ross is as intricate as it could seem, weāll probably never know - but, there was definitely something and all we can do is wonder.
