MANY OF TIMES opal would find herself questioning why people did what they did. why some people chose one decision over another, why others would go down the right path whilst others went down the wrong path. all her life, her dad had taught her that the best path in life was the âlawful pathâ. it was a shame that such teachings no longer mattered in her life as the young, innocent doe-eyed woman stood next to the bar, a drink held in her grasp while she passively watched her girl friends who were at the center of the dance floor with two strangers. opalâs fingers pushed her black locks behind her ear and sipped at her drink tediously. that place always made her feel uncomfortable, like everyone who was anyone was watching her every movement...
summer has started and i am back so i wanna start some new threads !  leave a cute little heart and iâll look through your wishlist, my lovelies xox

the two of them were two sides of the same coin; similar enough to mesh well together, but different enough to challenge each other. there was a reason theyâd butted heads for awhile, with his dry sense of humor and her determined nagging just to get under his skin; theyâd always had a bit of a sarcastic flirtationship, but alaska was just amazed that it had brought them here- in love, committed, fiercely loyal to each other. maybe it was because of the dangerous world they lived in, but as short as their relationship had been, alaska was completely comfortable. it didnât feel like things were moving at warp speed, it just felt right and that was how she knew that this was something good, something right. âno fights, no turf wars, no crime. just me, you, some peace and quiet- itâll be perfect,â alaska sighed happily, nuzzling into the crook of his neck as her arms wound lazily around his neck. he smelled like soap, the stubble of his jaw tickling her forehead as he held her in an uncharacteristically gentle embrace. he mightâve towered over everyone he met and put the fear of god into anyone who dared face him, but his touch was gentle, his gaze was warm as he looked down at her with deep, brown eyes. giggling a little when he protested, her lips fell into a pout and she hummed softly, nipping at his neck and hovering her lips over his. âiâm gonna remind you that you called me sexy the next time you call me annoying,â she smirked, tipping his jaw up with one delicate fingertip before pressing a searing kiss to his lips while her fingers curled around the back of his neck to pull him closer. âfine,â alaska mumbled, sliding off his lap and dramatically sitting on the ratty carpet across the small living room from noah, pointedly looking at the five feet of space between them. âbetter?â she teased.
feeling the petite little woman slip through his grasp like running sand, noah couldn't help but grin light-heartedly at the distance from which she left between the two. truly, it was possibly the largest space left between them in the last twelve hours they had been together. they were like magnets. truly and stubbornly attracted to one another that it almost felt abnormal to him if he wasn't at least in reaching distance of his counterpart. he didn't know if that was necessarily a good or bad thing, but he didn't care since the feeling of just being in alaska's company was worth every second. his tongue rolled against his inner bottom lip while he observed the girl sitting from afar, a smirk written over his smug face. "much better actually." he teased back, his fingers combing through his hair for it to all fall back into the same place before he sat up and rested his arms on his knees, gaze still stuck on her. "i need to get ready in a few, but as i said before, i'm taking you out for dinner tonight, so don't miss me too much." he cocked his dark brows. he wasn't going to lie to himself, he was going to miss her as much as she was going to miss him, if not more, however, revealing this to alaska would only add to the ammunition that she had over him. "i'll walk you to your trailer." standing up, noah scratched his chin before stepping towards her and holding his rough hand out to help her up.
âWeâre fake-dating and Iâm supposed to publicly break up with you but youâve been irritating me lately so instead of dumping you I publicly proposed to mess up your plan and now weâre getting married, fuckâ au

poppy seemed like a girl who either had no idea how charming and beautiful she was, or knew but didnât allow it to shift the way she acted and treated people. the braces mightâve been gone and her figure had filled out, but deep down, it was the same poppy from when they were younger and there was a small comfort in that for matt. in a world that kept changing and requiring serious decisions from him, it was nice to come home and be surrounded by people who had known him all his life. poppy had seen him grow up, theyâd been next door neighbors for practically ever, and he wondered if that affected how she viewed him. did she look at all the people at his birthday party and think that he was full of himself? he tried to remain down to earth, never really thinking too highly of himself because it was just a happy accident that his dads had adopted him and raised him to be this way. âhey, i probably only went to, like, one party per year when i was in school, theyâre overrated. iâd much rather hang out with people one on one, like we are right now,â matt smiled down at her, the way her eyes softened when she looked up at him catching him off guard a bit. her face was heart shaped, soft blonde tendrils falling into her eyes making him want to brush them away, his fingers twitching at his sides while he tried to resist. instead, he grabbed a cup and filled it with water from the sink, taking a drink and trying to remember that this was just little poppy from next door, there was no reason his heart should be racing the way it was. âwhy donât we watch tv? and if things get really boring, we can talk some more. iâll sit through whatever movie you choose,â he grinned, waggling his eyebrows in a playful manner.
with a nod of her head, she understood where matt was coming from, seeing as she herself wasn't one for the party scene either. there were plenty of other more productive and less anxiety causing things she'd do while the remainder of the girls her age were dancing on tabletops and throwing up in kitchen sinks that weren't even theirs. she couldn't quite work out whether it was the socialisation or her desire to be alone that forced her away from attending a party. probably both, to be honest. eyes following matt as he went to fill his glass, poppy sipped at the water in hers, feeling somewhat strange for living the fantasy of girls across the world who were crushing hard on their next door neighbour. brushing it off, she listened to his suggestion, finding herself giggling momentarily like a seven-year-old in love at his eyebrow waggling. "ok, yeah, sure. but you're the guest, therefore you have the honour of choosing from the wide selection of movies my family collects." shooting him a dramatic look, she sauntered over towards the living room, gesturing for him to join her. bending down to retrieve a wooden box in the corner of the room, she dropped it down on the cream rug, where she removed the lid to reveal, indeed, a mass selection of movies of every genre a person could think of. "think about a movie, and yeah, it's probably in there," she nervously scratched the back of her neck, "my parents are, like, freak collectors when it comes to this type of stuff so please donât think all we do is watch movies all day."

alaska had certainly not expected to be muffling her cries of pleasure while noah got her off sitting on the couch in his living room, especially with his father at home. she had no problems respecting the no sex thing, especially since she appreciated that noah wanted to wait until theyâd been together a bit longer than forty eight hours- had it only been a few days? so much had happened, it felt like two months, but maybe there was a reason for that. maybe, when it was the right person, time was irrelevant. alaska had never believed in soulmates, and she still didnât- she hadnât gone completely soft. but there was no denying the chemistry between noah and herself, and the way that they could read each other so well. there was a reason, after all, that heâd just managed to bring her to her peak with skilled fingers and a few choice words murmured in her ear- he knew her, and he was in tune with what she liked, what turned her on. there were other instances too, like whenever they were at the bar and someone sheâd had problems with before strolled in. noah would always seem to be beside her or in front of her, as if putting himself between her and the problem so that she didnât have to deal with it alone. alaska was no damsel in distress, but noah was a protector, always had been. now, it was just different because theyâd both admitted that they loved each other; love changed things, for the better, alaska had decided. his cocky smirk and the way his lips brushed against the shell of her ear as he murmured made her heart race and she shivered beneath the wandering hands roaming her curves. âi kinda like the sound of that, your girl,â she hummed softly, grinning in spite of herself with flushed cheeks as his hands slipped down to her ass and squeezed. âgod, itâs gonna be so nice to get away for a few days, just you and me, no town shit, no drama, no fights,â alaska pressed featherlight kisses down the column of his throat, teeth lightly grazing his collarbone as she purposefully rolled her hips to tease him.
attentively, his chocolate brown orbs were locked onto his girlfriend, admiring her even if she was or was not looking at him directly. the manner at which her messy, vibrant, pink locks fell over her shoulders, her lips hitched up into a smile that was out of this world, and her irresistible green eyes that were slowly but surely unintentionally attacked his heart. strange. how love changed his perspective of people so abruptly - it was as if he was seeing this young woman for the first time with a new pair of clearer and more observant eyes. perhaps his stubborn mindset of thinking played a part in his view weeks ago of the alaska he thought to consist solely of good-looks, irritating remarks and flirtatious gestures. after the past few of days the two had experienced together, she had certainly proved him wrong; he knew he could definitely say the same for himself to her. lips curling into a smile at her hum, he nodded his head gently. although the label sounded rather territorial, he was pleased to see that alaska liked it, after all, the last thing he wanted in such a peaceful atmosphere was a bit of conflict. "it'll be good for us. we need a change of scenery anyway, seeing the same things in the same damn places every day can't be healthy for that pretty little head of yours." he sighed. he thought about the two of them in the cabin. alone. undisturbed. then he grew thankful for the godly stamina that came along with his training for the fight because with alaska's energy in the bedroom, he knew he needed to impress for their first time together that might or might not take place in the cabin. instantly after feeling her mouth travel down his neck, noah's head tilted back, allowing her as much space as she pleased, however, once he felt her teasing against the fabric of his sweatpants, he couldn't help but raise a brow at her. "baby, come on. if you keep this up, something will 'come up' and that something is seriously hard to 'get back down' for a guy like me so i'd appreciate it if you stopped being all sexy for once." noah told her, having to already repress the certain muscle he was referring to.
