No. No solicitors. If I want art commissioned, I have an artist I go to. Save yourself the time. I would say this with love, but the empathy has been chipped out of me with the sheer amount of spam/scam messages I have gotten. Any flattering messages before then are social engineering, and it doesn't work on me, and you will be blocked.

✿ What happened to your fanfiction.net account? ✿

I had my start on ff.net, but the ff.net team has a problem with communication from staff about ongoing bugs so I eventually cleared the account.

If this is how you think you get commissions, you have been misled. If you are scamming the fandom space, then burn in hell, you monster. I hope you get a rash that won't go away ever.

For the rest of you, be wary of sudden DMs. These scams use social engineering or skimming your account to act like they are a reader who likes your work to make you feel bad for turning them down. This targets people specifically who don't get much attention on their work and makes it all the more devastating to realize it's a scam.

I love the fandom space. If you genuinely want to talk, my DMs are always open. I shall not close them because of these cunts.

I don't even know how to explain the irony here.

This wasn't even 10 minutes later. They seemed to instantly realize that they misread my post and blocked me, which is why it says I can't message them back even though I just got the message.

This person, thankfully, was upfront about the fact that they wanted a commission, at least. Which is why I am not blasting their user; I think that they are an actual commission artist who skimmed for 'looking to commission' and got caught in my post. This is a valid reason to DM, and they just made a mistake.

**To be clear, I don't think there is any problem with commissions. Post that you take them, and post your art to show what you can do. Reply to people who give open asks for commissions.

This is not what is happening in the other messages I keep getting. These are burner accounts for the purpose of being vultures on the community. Trying to get money from you, the fan fic writer, who makes your work for free, and the community.

Watch out, stay safe, don't get scammed.

She wondered if he still wished it were someone else. She was starting to think that they had been dead for a few weeks, and this was just a way for students to continue to deal with their mourning. That explained why no one was talking about it, but everyone was a little dim.

She only went into the kitchen to get tea, and he knocked out with his head resting back on the couch, and the book laid open across his stomach. She set the tray down and set her hands on her hips. Did she wake him to enjoy his tea, or should she let him sleep? He had done a few errands without her and looked tired when he returned. He hadn’t said anything happened, so she hoped he hadn’t had a run-in that drained him. Hinata decided to let him sleep. She slipped the book out of his hand, laid a blanket over his lap, and leaned over, tucking her hair back to kiss his forehead. She squeaked in surprise as it was not his forehead that her lips reached. His lips connected with hers, and she was tugged down onto his lap. He laid his lazy grin on her shoulder, looking up at her in a way that was frustrating because he knew he embarrassed her.
