I feel like something happened... Something sorrowful... Something isolating... Something all... My fault. My bad. Backs turned so fast they forgot to hurt. Doors shut so soon they forgot to open. Lights snuffed out so fast they forgot to shine, forgot to blind.
And now, what would be mine but one more to have its ashes swept up and scattered to grow new life? Who cares about the death underfoot if it means progress, after all? ...Why must the circle of life be so oblong?
Why do I even bother logging this? Who would think to check before wiping the tablet clean and passing it to a new adventurer? If I surrendered my self-imposed screaming, who would ever know?
...I'm spiraling. As always, I'm left alone for too long, and everything I do in these frames hurts me and those around me. Silly, stupid Lavender. Why would it ever have been different?
