Wheelchair user Colt Seavers Headcanons!
Look me dead in the eyes and say Colt would quick all sporty/agile activities. Look me in the eyes. I say he wouldnt. I say he'd be all for Wheelchair Rugby in specific. Similar adrenaline rush to stunts, similar competativeness, easy on the back and legs because you're in a wheelchair and not standing up. He'd get fixated on it much to Jody's unfortune. Now she's sitting in a crowd full of sweaty men watching Colt play. After he's all hyper, rolling back and forth in joy, explaining a particularly good "tackle" he'd done.
I also Imagine him to either be an Ambulatory (wrongly spellt, obviously) wheelchair usuer. Occasionally he'd use crutches. But not often. The pain in his back and legs is often too much. Occasionally, he's bedbound and EXTREMELY insecure and sad about it. The first (and last time) he'd ever been a bitch to Jody was during a bedbound period. He always CONSTANTLY apologizes for this. Especially when he's bedbound. He think's he's useless, Jody begs to differ and brings out some form of non-digital entertainment (because Colt has a habit of reading hate-tweets during these periods), and they just sit toghether, because Jody always takes time of for her boyfriend.
Colt does stunts still. If a character in a film is in a wheelchair, and he is fit for it, he'll always jump at the chance. He loves stunts, always had always will, and much to Jody's dismay he will keep doing them. Even if they're incredibly taxing on his body. Even if he always wakes up with a crick in his neck because of them.
Colt still does everything he can to take care of Jody still. Wakes up early, makes breakfast the way he knows Jody likes it, makes coffee (the coffee machine is surprisingly on his side sometimes), and waits for Jody to wake up while reading a book. He loves her, and he does everything he can to not be more of a burden then he (thinks he) is. Jody knows Colt thinks this way and can't stress enough that he isnt a burden. Because he isnt. Because she loves him and her boyfriend is not a burden.
Feel free to reblog with your own headcannons, i'd love to hear them :D
