Hatching Charmanders With Leon

-every once in a while, the Pokémon Daycare will have a trainer abandon their Pokémon

-the Pokémon will be sent to a shelter, but if they leave any eggs behind, the Daycare tries to find a suitable foster home for them, at least until they hatch

-Leon has a big heart, so when the breeders called and asked if he could take care of some Pokémon eggs, he couldn’t say no

-this is how you and Leon ended up with 6 eggs, presumably all Charmanders

-he may know how to take care of the Charizard line, but both of you were pretty clueless when it came to eggs. however, you were eager to try.

-actually took a week off of work at the battle tower to help you hatch the eggs (he referred to it as “paternity leave,” which made you roll your eyes, but you thought it was cute how serious he was taking this)

-you knew that walking with them helped to hatch them faster, so you and Leon would take walks everyday, each holding three eggs. you actually let him take the lead for once because you figured getting lost would make the walks longer, which would be better for the eggs.

-you read that talking to the eggs make the pokemon inside friendlier to you, so Leon starts telling them the bedtime stories he used to tell Hop when he was a kid. when he thought you were across the house and couldn’t hear, he even sang them a lullaby. (you were actually in the hallway, left wondering what you had done to deserve such a soft man).

-of course you showed your own Pokémon the eggs. they were all really curious, but none more so than Leon’s Charizard. you both almost melted when he wrapped himself around the eggs like they were his very own.

-after about a week, they started to hatch. you and Leon felt like proud parents as you watched the little Charmanders crawl out of the eggs you had cared for over the past few days.

-5 of the eggs had hatched within the span of about 2 hours, but the 6th egg remained intact. as happy as you and Leon were about the other hatchings, you were both quite concerned.

-while Leon worked to corral the baby Charmanders and prevent them from burning the house down, you held onto the egg. maybe it just needed a little more time?

-by bedtime, the egg still hadn’t hatched, which had you both on edge. what if there was something wrong? Leon, ever the optimist, promised that it was just a late bloomer and would hatch by the morning, but you could see the concern in his eyes.

-that night, you slept with the unhatched egg between the two of you, while the Charmanders slept under the wings of Charizard, who had appointed himself as their guardian.

-you woke up to a still unhatched egg. you and Leon agreed to call the breeders after breakfast and tell them the bad news. you were both crushed that the little egg you had loved so much seemed like it wasn’t going to hatch.

-as soon as you got to the kitchen to get out some food for the Pokémon, you heard Leon yelling.

-“Y/N!!!! IT’S HATCHING!! WAIT, OH ARCEUS, THERE’S SOMETHING REALLY WRONG WITH IT.”

-you ran as fast as you could. you were terrified by what you might see, but as soon as you entered the room, you knew exactly what was “wrong” with the baby Charmander.

-“Lee?”

-“Yeah?” He asked, near tears at what he thought was a terminally ill baby Charmander

-“Have you never seen a shiny Pokemon before??”

-“Oh.”

-Leon has many great qualities, but sometimes using his brain (especially in a stressful situation) isn’t one of them

-relieved that the egg had hatched and was healthy, you and Leon spent the rest of the day doting on your new friends

-As much as you loved your little Charmander herd, you couldn’t keep them all. You gave one to Hop, who had always wanted one, one to Gloria, as a gift for a successful first year as champion, one to Kabu (who you swear teared up when he first saw its cute little face), one to Sonia to help with her around the lab, and one to Raihan, who lovingly accepted it into his herd of dragons (he still hasn’t figured out it’s not actually a dragon type yet).

-as for the shiny, you ended up keeping it as your own. Leon was elated that you were going to become a Charizard trainer too, and Charizard himself was thrilled to have a little brother to play with.

-you still give Leon shit sometimes for notknowing what a shiny form of one of his favorite Pokémon looked like though.

-“C’mon, it’s yellow! You can’t blame me for thinking it had jaundice or something.”

Leon + Phone Headcanons

-as much as he tries to seem hip, Leon texts like a grandpa (exclusively using his index finger to type one word at a time)

-this drives Raihan, the fastest texter in Galar, fucking insane btw

-you actually had to show Leon how to add the emoji keyboard to his Rotom Phone, causing all hell to break loose

-the first few days before the novelty wears off, you get texts from Leon like “Good 👍🏻👍🏻 Morning 🍳🌞2️⃣ my Queen 👑 👸 miss 😫😭 you 💞 so much 😩🙈 💞💔💘💝❤️💛💚” 

-even though it’s annoying af to receive messages that look like an emoji copypasta, it’s kind of endearing that he puts that much effort into a simple text, but that’s just the kind of person he is

-he’s also the type that will always send a Snapchat picture back instead of a message regardless of whatever it was, so it’s always a bonus to contact him there 

-your contact name in his phone something cute like Princess or My Champion 💜

-his background is a picture you two took together while visiting Ballonlea

-it’s a bit dark and hard to see, but he loves it because his head is resting on top of yours, and on top of his is a tiny Morelull that had decided to take  residence in his hair 

-if he’s away on champion/battle tower business, expect to get a good morning and goodnight text every day he’s gone

-he has a photo album for each of his Pokémon (Charizard’s literally has like 1,000 pictures in it, his favorite of which is one he took while you were curled up asleep next to Charizard when you went camping in the Wild Area)

 -has social media, but doesn’t use it all that often unless it’s to post a picture related to a battle, like one of your posts, or see what Hop is up to  - does occasionally send cryptic tweets tho 

- your personal fave is one that’s just a blurry close-up of Charizard captioned “He” (he meant to put more but he’s terrible with technology and it got so many likes he just left it up) 

- you know how he’s shit with directions? same thing with losing his phone. one time it ended up in Alola. you’re still trying to figure that one out. thank Arceus for Find My Rotom Phone

- this man is the cheesiest I stg he sends you memes like this all the time

Hey there!! Could I get some separate headcanons for Piers, Raihan, and Leon with reader?? So basically after Rose got arrested, reader became the new chairman, and all is well until Rose gets out of prison. How would the boys react to their s/o being confronted by and verbally harassed in public by Rose?? And to spice it up, Rose grabs s/o’s wrist when they try to walk away. Ohhhh boi oh boiiii

Piers

After you were put in charge of the Gym Challenge, Piers wasn’t certain how he felt

Rose had never given them attention or badly needed funds in Spikemuth - why should he think that would change?

But your relationship ends up building and growing into something more, and he finds himself desperately in love with you

Then, Rose gets out of prison

When Rose confronts you, Piers initially stays back

He never liked the guy, even when he was Chairman, so it’s clear he’s physically holding himself back from jumping him

You’re being very reasonable and calm, even when Rose starts to accuse you of stealing his company

“Mr Rose, perhaps you should have thought about that before almost destroying the whole region?”

Piers is so proud

But Rose is having none of it. Eventually you just have to turn to go.

After all, you can’t reason with a man who’s incapable of listening to reason

That’s when Rose reaches out and grabs your wrist

Piers can tell from your facial expression that he’s got a tight grip, and immediately he jumps in, prying your hand from the former Chairman’s grip

“Don’t you dare fuckin’ touch. Piss off.”

Rose gets all self-satisfied

“Not able to control your temper? Watch yourself, Piers, don’t want to reinforce the reputation of those from Spikemuth being brutes...”

Hand flies to his cheek when you reach out to smack him

Stares at you with wide eyes

Piers just stares at you as well, but more in a way that says fuck you’re hot

You smirk at Rose

“I’d say the man who tried to destroy an entire region for the sake of something supposedly a thousand years in the future is the true brute. Good day.”

Piers has never been more attracted to you

Raihan

Met you because he got a little intrigued about who, exactly, the new organizer of the Gym Challenge was

Asked you on a date the same day he met you - because damn, you’re finer than Rose was

Everything was great, up until Rose got let out of jail

When he finds you, you’re in the foyer outside your office, hands clenched at your sides

“No, I will not let you inside. The Gym Challenge is doing perfectly well without you - or even, one might say, in spite of you.”

Raihan wants to move forward, wants to end Rose on the spot

But he knows he has to let you deal with this yourself

So he just stands in the doorway and watches as you take him down, peg by peg

“Mr Rose, we’re getting nowhere, here. I’m just going to show you out of the building.”

You go to move, and then Rose grabs your wrist. Raihan sees red.

“I believe you were asked to leave the building.”

Rose turns and then smirks

“Ah, the third best trainer in Galar. Come to commiserate over your losses with your lover?”

Raihan bares his teeth

“Third best trainer or not, I could take you down in an instant, old man.”

Rose clearly isn’t happy about that comment, but when he sees Raihan’s hand twitch towards the Pokéballs at his belt, he pauses and shakes his head with a sigh

“A shame, that you would allow the Gym Challenge to wither under this one’s leadership.”

He’s ready to go after the man to defend your honour, but you gently place a hand on him and shake his head

He’ll let it go, for now

But he’ll be seething with rage for days

Leon

He met you while arranging to buy Rose Tower

Agrees to give you a large amount of office space in the Tower, in order to continue having a base of operations for the Gym Challenge in Wyndon

Finds you funny, charming and sweet

He’s not great at asking you out, he’s never dated before, but when you say yes his face lights up

Which is why he’s so upset when he sees you and Rose in the middle of an argument

He knew, vaguely, that Rose got out of prison

But he kept it out of his mind, kept it away from the place that said he failed, that he wasn’t good enough, he wasn’t the greatest Champion in Galar’s history

He stays just out of the way, listening into the conversation

“So, you’re who replaced me? You’re the one Leon decided was a decent lover?”

He feels his anger building, but he stays put. He’s never been good at acting on anger.

“Yes, I am. And I believe I’ve asked you to leave multiple times. The Gym Challenge has seen more success in the last couple of years than it did during your entire tenure as Chairman. I’m good at my job, and I damn well know it. Leave.”

Leon’s never felt more proud of you

Both of you had worked on the Challenge, of course - he was more than happy to provide tips on how to help out younger trainers who could be unprepared for the exposure they got.

And to tell you about what he’d suffered at Rose’s hands

It’s fear he feels when Rose grabs you hard enough to bruise, and relief when you pull your hand out of his grip

“Get out. Now. Yourself, before I call security.”

It takes a few tense seconds, and then Leon emerges

Rose just looks him up and down, and sighs

“So much wasted potential.”

That night, you have to comfort Leon as he cries

Reassure him that he’s doing so much without needing to be Champion

It makes him feel a little better, but that niggling doubt is always there

Pokemon Headcanon that nobody asked for but I thought about and nearly layed down on my work floor because I needed a minute:

So Leon's from Postwick, yeah? And Postwick's like...a sleepy little 'country' town, right?...listen long story short: Leon calls his s/o 'Pumpkin' and it is THE MOST wholesome thing.

They handed him something on an interview show (post champion saga) and he casually let out a "Thanks, pumpkin." and the audience collectively went 'awwww~' and both of them just went red and I'm shedding real tears it's so cute thank you brain machine.

hi i go by lavender and I’ve been meaning to make an imagines blog where I can just post whatever I want for I while but I hadn’t gotten around to it until now!!

Here’s what you need to know:

1. I’ll take requests, but as it stands right now, I’m only taking them for whatever character(s) are specified in the bio. this will probably change later on.

2. I’ll post smut, but I don’t feel comfortable enough yet to take specific smut requests, so SFW only right now.

3. I’m going to be posting both headcanons and fics (fics will be crossposted to my Ao3)

4. At the moment I can say I’ll probably be writing for pokemon, fire emblem (esp. 3 houses), Star Wars (esp. Mando), some Marvel, and classic rock. This list will probably get bigger knowing how I randomly get super into things lol. That should be it! I haven’t written consistently in a very long time so this should be exciting!! and don’t be afraid to pop into the ask box!
