me: [duel of the fates begins playing at an eardrum-destroying volume as i attempt to leave work at the end of the day before my boss gets the call from my temp agency saying that i'm quitting]

i quit my job lmao

#the position really called for someone with more experience than i have #so i was constantly overwhelmed and frustrated with my work #and my boss really didn't seem to give a shit that i was struggling like #i would ask him questions about how to do things and he would get upset with me for asking him questions and say things like #'you need to make mistakes and learn on your own'#but then he'd get upset with me and tell me my work was unacceptable when i would inevitably do something wrong #and all this time the stress has been giving me constant stomach problems #and migraines #and it's been making my ocd worse on top of everything like i've started CLEANING I WAS CLEANING MY WORK STATION MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY #JUST TO FEEL A SENSE OF CONTROL OVER MY SITUATION #so im done lol #tomorrow is my last day

i have tomorrow off so im gonna spend the day either completely catatonic or crying and thanking god for making my week shorter

i think my new job is making my ocd worse

#i've discussed this with my therapist already but #the stress of the job is making me develop compulsions that i have literally never done before which is like. problematic lmao #it's a good thing im catching them early so i can like. be mindful of them and work on them but like #it also makes me feel like. a big failure

i’d legitimately give anything for someone to fucking hire me, i’ve been applying everywhere i think im qualified for, even stuff im probably overqualified for, and im already getting rejection notices

applying for jobs is hard and stressful and discouraging, she whined

#i mean im gonna keep applying tho #but i've done this shit for like. 5 summers consecutively and have never even made it to the interview stage????#just been rejected outright???#so how in the fuck #do you expect me to be optimistic and chipper about this shit when i know im just gonna be rejected by every employer i apply for #literally i have never gotten an interview and i've spent entire SUMMERS applying for jobs #so

ok honestly im stressed but im also in a really good and hopeful place right now so???? keep it up i guess

#im moving in with my sister and her girlfriend in a few weeks cause they just got a really nice house #and i'm applying for jobs #and i got a new therapist who accepts medicaid #so i think. if i can ride out these last couple of weeks at my parents' house everything's gonna be ok??
